  “They just cannot destroy Acropolis!”

  “Did you see the other planes? They were releasing gases—poisonous ones. Very poisonous. They could cause respiratory problems when inhaled in a span of time. These substances were synthesized in the laboratory to become a new form of chemical weapon. The chemicals have been used years ago to depopulate the world, and now they’re using it against us.”

  “Do the Union and IRENE know about this?”

  “Of course they do. They know everything. But information is not for everyone.”

  “How did you know about this, Jim?”

  “I’ve seen how this gas was synthesized before when I worked for the Union. It could be very lethal, depending on the amount of radon and carbon combined.”

  “Did you say that it was used before?”

  “Yes. I’ve read from accounts in the secret archives that people thought that the government was just having regular military exercises when in fact, the planes carrying these harmful gases were releasing them to the atmosphere. Constant exposure causes cancer of the lungs, asthma and other forms of respiratory problems. “

  Henry was speechless. How could the government do this to their own people?

  “Where are you going, Henry?!”

  Henry dashed off the university. He drove two hundred miles away in his car.
