It was late Saturday night when I decided to go for a drive.

  Being stuck up in the house feeling sorry for myself wasn’t helping my situation at all.

  I needed so fresh air.

  I had managed to pull myself together enough to throw on some sweats and a t-shirt. Pulled my hair back into a ponytail.

  Put on some lipgloss.

  I walked out to my car, inhaling the autumn air.

  It felt so good to my lungs.

  I pulled out the driveway and turned onto the main street, turning the music up a little louder than usual. It just so happened that a Rihanna song that I liked was playing. The one about her not wanting to be a murderer.

  I had no idea that I was being followed.
