Read Braden ' Power of 3' Page 14

CHAPTER TWO

  THE JOURNAL

It was here where the statue had been split in two that William Braden's journal was found, its pages singed black. And it is said that all who had attempted to touch its silver encased sheathe were repelled by a strange ominous power.

The journal lay there for thirteen days and nights...then mysteriously disappeared. Only William Braden's son James knew where it had come to dwell. For on the very day of its disappearance he was to find it inexplicably sitting upon his father's desk, a small phial of golden liquid by its side. It was exactly thirteen days to the hour since his father's mystifying disappearance.

Sadly James Braden did not choose to read its contents until after his mother's horrific death. If he had done so I am sure he would have heeded the warning written there...and would have saved his mothers life.

The following is the passage from the journal containing the prophetic warning. I have copied it in its exact form for you to read:

'On the thirteenth night of my disappearance, an eerie wailing will be heard. And upon hearing this, my wife Isobelle should be locked in her bedroom. For the creature that dwells within the lower levels of the catacombs under my basement will seek revenge. For it is she, that this pitiful creatures blames for his misery! It was my wife Isobelle's refusal to give me, her husband William, the children I so desired ...that spawned his creation.

Be warned that this will come to pass, as I will no longer be there to restrain its intent.

It is upon hearing this wailing that you my son James must use the potion that I leave upon my desk. You must sprinkle it around the door to the basement and repeat the word 'OSUNTA' three times by thirteen. This will forever imprison the creature within the catacombs beneath the lower level of my basement. To fail to do this will release the demon of my creation forever upon this world. For unhappily it is immortal, and not only carries the genes of my wife Isobelle, but also those of the alien Sorcerer Sissnaska whom I have served loyally, until now.

Be aware my son, of the full moon turning red, and the howling of the three wild dingoes that will encircle the mansion for thirteen days and nights upon my disappearance. For they, are the precursor of the creature's intent! Take heed my son and may the Holy Creator be with you!

Do not despair of my fate, for I have seen the errors of my ways. I will return when the time is right!"
