Whenever the subject of prayer comes up, people always want to talk about the prayers they prayed that God didn’t answer. It always amazes me how ready these individuals are to dismiss the whole concept of prayer based on one single prayer that wasn’t answered—at least not in their eyes. It’s like the Pony Prayer we talked about previously: Prayed for a pony, didn’t get the pony, therefore prayer is a waste of time. Hopefully we’ve made a little progress since that savory discussion. But just as a reminder, be assured that God always, always answers prayer. As we discussed earlier, He answers in one of three ways: yes, no, or not now. So if you think God hasn’t answered your prayer, it’s possible He just hasn’t answered it yet. Don’t believe me?
