Read Dani Hayward, P.I.: The Joshua Franklin File Page 7
After dropping the Captain off at his car, Dani returned to her office to find the fax machine tray filled with papers. She glanced through them then reached for the phone.
"Sanders."
"Good work Tom."
"We had most of the information on Franklin in our files. Nothing much on the son and wife though."
"What I'm after now isn't going to be in that computer of yours."
"No problem. I know of a couple of mainframes I can tap into."
Dani was sure he did. "I want the inside lowdown on Jeremiah Franklin. Turn over every rock you can find and that includes a complete history of any brush he's had with law enforcement agencies."
"Nationwide or local?"
She recalled the Captain's comments on the younger Franklin. "Make it nationwide. I've already got the local scoop on him."
"This is going to take more than a couple of hours."
"That's alright. Just do your best to have it to me by noon tomorrow. I think I'm about to open up a hornet's nest down here. I want to know what I'm up against before I do."
