About the Author:
Currently father of two beautiful children, who are also mastermind manipulators of the highest order. James has been together with a very patient lady, Dawn, who manages to put up with his full-time writing and freelancing. Without her, these words never would have reached you.
Honorably discharged from the Navy at eighteen, James went on to what he calls Greyhound Therapy, back when Greyhound was still a popular mode of getting the hell outta town. His first trip involved $150 and the question: “Where will this get me?” A year later, James had traveled across the western and southwestern portions of the United States.
In regards to writing stories, James started at the age of twelve with the title, The Dark Lord.” If there is any righteousness in this world, that story will never, never see the light of day. Later in his life, however, he was recognized by his college English professor as a decent writer, who got him into extracurricular writing classes.
Unfortunately, when James’ daughter was born, he decided to work full time to support her (and the car he now owned), and got out of college. His first novel, Of Blood and Blade, is dedicated to her.
James now resides halfway between reality and fantasy, imagination and procrastination, and just south of both Kansas City and St. Louis, MO.
