A Concubine Sentinel is as human as the rest of us. She may forsake her humanity as an act of will but willpower has no power over one’s nature. Her inhuman devotion is entirely human for it is her natural yearning to do what is right. I so admire our selfless and fearless Girls in Red.
Shadow Station 13 was under an electromagnetic umbrella which protected it from scanning, bombardment and air assault. Nothing fast or ionized could penetrate the barrier. An aircraft flying slowly into it would lose power and crash. On the day we were to leave the electromagnetic charge reversed: Our entomopter would lose power and crash if we tried to fly away.
