Seth opened his eyes and curled up, retching. He took in deep, shaky breaths and laid back, staring up. He narrowed his eyes and saw a small spot of light. What the heck? He was underground, in a cave.
He groaned and sat up, his back throbbing. His head was pounding so hard he had to close his eyes to keep from passing out. He felt worse than he did when the stupid faery smashed his sword into his head. He looked around the dimly lit cavern and spotted Jazell, sprawled out on the floor. He crawled over to her.
