- Giving the four little rabbits a personality corresponding with your child will help your children to identify with them. If you decide to create your own stories, or if you have two or three kids, feel free to adept the stories to two or three rabbits and use names similar to those of your children. When writing this book, I talked to one of our kids, now grown up, who told me: I do not remember many of the stories, but I do remember that I was always looking forward to what MY rabbit would say or do.

As you may have gathered from the prologue, I’m not a professional story teller. I was born in a working class family in the Netherlands, I am married, and we have four children, now all grown up.
