But it is dull compared to your wit and wisdom.

All this evidence has led me to the conclusion that God imported all the raw materials

He used to make you from a special and beautiful place outside of our know universe!

  True Freedom

"It is their short sightedness, and willingness to live in bondage when freedom is so close to them that frustrates me." I had been observing the progression of man through time, and was troubled by what I saw. "Unfortunately, man regards love as weakness, as it makes them vulnerable." The spirit of Wisdom hovered over my opinion to bring understanding, "Humans turn to materialistic trappings of wealth, pride of life, and the lust of the flesh. These are the very things that promise them freedom, which imprisons them."

"Love is not bondage" I stamped. I thought of the courage and strength your love brought me. My soul is free to soar, knowing it has a welcoming place with you, to which it may return.

Freedom in love is experienced only when that love is selfless!" The spirit of Wisdom turned to you and saluted.

  Universal Magnet

"Oh stop all your whining!" The spirit of Wisdom was tired of all my complaining, "It's really not that bad!"

"It all right for you," I spat, "you don't have to deal with daily living."

The spirit of Wisdom whipped me around. We stood facing each other, our noses only centimeters apart. "Let me tell you how it is," he spoke slowly. "Your focused attention is like a magnet, attracting and repelling throughout the universe. Your focus on what you have lost will repel anything you have left. You will lose it all. By focusing on what you have gained with gratitude, will attract more good things, and still more will be added to you."

Then the spirit of Wisdom vanished, leaving me to wonder what my universal magnet was doing for me.

  Vanished

"I will leave!" I slammed the door behind me as I left. Instantly, I found myself in a place suspended between reality and imagination. The spirit of Wisdom stood before me, wagging his finger, "Never turn you back on a loved one!" I shrugged. In my temper, I was in no mood for life lessons. "They may vanish before you turn back!"

  Weeping Planet

The cries were heart shattering, and sounded like the weeping of a broken child. I walked around my house, but found no one. I hollered for the attention of the spirit of Wisdom. "Slowly!" He burst forward from the trunk of a large nearby tree, "You don't have to shout so loud!" He had his hands cupped over his ears.

"Shht!" I hushed him, "Listen!" He paused for a moment. "Can you hear those moans and groans of a child crying?"

He breathed in deeply and sighed; "Those groans, my human friend, are not the groans of a child."

  "What then?"

"The groans that torment you hear are the groans of the planet earth."

"The planet is crying. I don't understand."

"At creation, the earth was placed under the curse of decay. The living planets pain is real."

"What can you do about it?" I was at breaking point as the groans tormented the peace of my soul.

"Me?" He shook his head, "I can do nothing about it. The salvation lies with mankind."

  "What can we do?"

"The earth will be freed from the curse when man recognizes what kind of powerful being he be. The earth groans until you recognize the power you own as the sons of man."

Saddened and confused by the spirit of Wisdoms words, I walked into the bathroom of my house and stood in front of the mirror. I gazed at my own image and wondered what kind of awesome power lay beyond the feeble exterior that I viewed. Do you know?

  What Do You Own?

"Ha!" The outburst was sarcastic. The spirit of Wisdom stood by the fire, visible only to me, as I socialized with friends and acquaintances. "What's the matter with you?" I asked through the mouth of my heart. "Their bad habits," he pointed to those present, "you claim to share - not a word of truth!"

"I bear their cross; share in their bad ways to make them comfortable around me." I did not want lessons while socializing.

"You would take ownership of things that would disgrace God in your life?" The spirit of Wisdom whipped around on his heel and walked away. "How dare you!" he said as his frame vanished into the night.

  What Manner Of Man

I slammed my fist into the door. I had lost a prized possession to theft. It was not something that was vital to my everyday living, but I had placed great sentimental value on it. I was on the edge of depression, when the spirit of Wisdom sat in my heart. "It could have been worse," he said. That was not what I wanted to hear. "Watch!" he said as he conjured up a mirror. Looking into it, I could see the smile wrinkles of a content life on my face. The spirit drew the attention to the twinkle of an educated and capable mind in my eye. I saw the full length of my healthy and active body in the mirror. "You forget the manner of man you are," said the spirit as he left my emotional space. I don't believe I am controlled by the physical and materialistic world around me. I draw my self-image from my inner worth. "I will forget no more!" I called after the spirit, as his image faded into the stillness of the night.

  Wishing Won't Make It So

"Why are you laughing at me?" The spirit of Wisdom had collapsed in a heap on the floor due to uncontrollable laughter. "Because it's funny!" He paused for a brief moment and then began laughing all over again. The spirit and I had discussed the difference between beliefs and reality. I had made a comment on what was factual in my life, when suddenly he erupted in laughter. "Just because you believe, or don't believe something," he paused, trying to control his giggling. "Does not make it fact!"

  You Smell Of Smoke

"To act on what you believe is not such a foreign concept." The spirit of Wisdom chuckled at my confused facial expression. He had said that in order to have wealth pass through my hands, I must think and behave like a rich man. I had put some spare change into a beggar's coffer. The spirit challenged me on the difference of behavior between a rich man and a poor man. "By acting rich, the universe's wealth energy will recognize you as an acceptable channel though which it can enter the realm of the physical," he said.

"I don't want to just channel money into the world. I would like to raise my standards of living too." I reached into my pocket for my wallet.

"One cannot stand next to a fire, walk away and not smell of smoke," the spirit winked.

"So, I now act as if I smell of smoke?" I took out a bill and walked back to the beggar.

Your Soul Has A Home In My Heart.

I opened my eyes, to see the spirit of Wisdom sitting at my side, on the bed. I put my hand out to awaken you, but you were not by my side. "Her soul does not need physical presence." The spirit smiled. I searched for you, and found your soul in my heart. You fully occupy my emotional space, for which I am grateful.

  Wisdom Is Sorrow

I saw the spirit of Wisdom sitting at the end of the pier. His absence had been apparent in my life for a while, so I went searching for him in spirit. He did not hear me draw closer, and I became aware of an aura emitting from him. Suddenly, my heart felt as if it had been ripped as I stepped inside the aura. Great sorrow for the planet engulfed me. I was weighed down by the pain and anguish of the destitute. I felt angry at the foolishness of our rulers. The mass of burden forced me to the floor. My strength drained from me. I closed my eyes, expecting to die. Suddenly I stood well, and was in the presence of the spirit of Truth. "He stretched out his hand, "Let me take you to safety."

"What about the spirit of Wisdom?" I turned to look back at the dejected form of the spirit I knew so well. "In much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow." The spirit spoke to my heart without words. I awoke in my bed. The day was dark and ominous, offering little hope of sunshine. I had asked the spirit of Truth what was to become of the spirit of Wisdom. His reply was only; "He will return."
