Read God's Demand and Judgment upon the Vine Page 5

Lord could not find any good fruit from the land of Israel then, He scattered them abroad and destroyed them as a lesson for us. After they had rejected the Messiah and crucified Him and refused to bring forth good fruit unto the Lord. Then the Lord opens a wide door for as many nations that are ready to receive Him. For He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in His name (John 1:11-12)

The church that received Him then and now, have we not fail Him also woefully after the manner of the chosen one? Let us ask ourselves, if the Lord get into the vineyard of Catholic Church (that have changed their glory to shame in the worship of image and burning of incense), Anglican, Methodist, Lutherans, Baptist, Christ Apostolic Church, Redeemed Christian church of God, Mountain Of Fire, Apostolic Faith, Deeper Christian Life and countless Ministries and other big international denominations in the world, can He find fruit worthy of Him there? The kingdom of God has been taking away from the Jew and opened to the whole wide world, to any nation, people and tongues that can bring forth fruit: genuine repentance, faith, holiness and righteousness unto God. Some of these denominations and churches brought forth good fruit unto the Lord in their early years while the pioneers were there, but thereafter, tiger and wolves entered and spare not the vine. They converted it unto their own heritage. Some that started theirs like business venture without thinking of bringing forth any fruit unto God, offer fake salvation and false heaven to their gullible followers by preaching half or upside-down gospel to them. But what will be their end? Destruction. Yet the demand of God upon His vineyard is to bring forth fruit unto Him. The Lord is still willing for the backslidden leaders to come back to Him so also to restore their followers back to the old path and save them from destruction. But if they own onto it as their vending machine that will be vomiting money for them and refuse to teach them the sound Word of God that bring forth fruit unto perfection , their end will be destruction.

The call of God is still universal today to every nation, people or individual, that would recognize by the help of the Holy Spirit and cooperate with Him in reconciling, regenerating the world back to Him through the preaching of the sound Word of God. The Lord is looking for someone He will use to dethrone the idol of Mary and false practices in Catholic Church and nominalism and formalism in orthodox churches, mammonism and false teachings and prophecies in Pentecostal churches. He is looking for one in Anglican Church and other denominations and ministries that are ready to stand straight for God without compromising the Word with the world and the devil, which will bring Him the fruit of the vine in its season.

The Lord found David in his time and fed the people of God faithful and left the good trait in the portrait of the land of Israel. King Jehoshaphat prepared his heart also to bring Israelites back to God and he appointed ministers to evangelize Israelites during his time, holding the Word of God in their hands. King Hezekiah and Josiah did theirs during their own time. Ezra prepared his heart to seek the law of God, to do it and teach it in Israel and thereby brought revival to the land after many years in captivity.

The call of God is open to everyone, those that have prepared their hearts to serve the living God according to His Word, those that will despise the gold and dollars and esteem the Word of God more than them all. They will value the souls of men (wash them thoroughly in the blood of Jesus and the Word of God) above material possession. Those that will not convert the vine to their personal business but work with the view of bringing forth fruit unto God. Not those that will kill the young servants sent to them with food, unrighteous mammon and the cares of this life. The Lord is looking for the volunteers in every church, denomination, and ministry that put Him and His Word first.

Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it (Jeremiah 5:1).

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it:  but I found none (Ezekiel 22:30).

The Lord is still seeking for the faithful husbandmen that will have the goal of the Lord as their primary goal and surrender their hearts totally to His word and will. We are the Judah and Jerusalem the Lord is searching through today to bring the fruit of righteousness, justice, mercy, faith to Him.

  Make The Tree Good

Our Lord Jesus Christ is a divine Maker that specializes in the making of fruitful tree. He picked twelve apostles and washed them with His Word and Blood and breathed the power of God upon them to go and bring forth fruit unto Him. And they went forth and multiplied themselves through His divine power in a twinkling of an eye. They had turned to thousands until they turned the world upside down as they continue to abide in Him and preaching the sound Word to the world. They brought forth great and precious fruit unto the Lord, those that submitted themselves to the wholesome truth and ready for heaven. They obeyed the Lord totally teaching the people all what the Lord had commanded them.

Either make the tree good, and his fruit will be good (Matthew 12:33).

No man is good on his own, because there is nothing good dwelling in him. Only the Word of God and the Holy Spirit can make man good, converted and transformed. The assignment is on the neck of the husbandmen to make the tree good. There is no man that God cannot change through the power of His Word and the Holy Spirit if only the husbandmen are faithfully declaring the wholesome Word of God to them backed up with heart-felt prayers.

But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doing. …… He that hath my Word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat?  Saith the LORD.  Is not my word like as a fire?  Saith the LORD: or like hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces. (Jeremiah 23:22, 28, 29).

If the husbandmen refuse to be faithful and truthful in declaring the whole counsel of God, nothing can change the people. The Word of God is meant to transform from the corruption of sin and of the world into the knowledge and the nature of God. If the husbandmen leave the cutting edge of the Word that can really create the nature of God in man and make him Christ-like, there is nothing God can do then to change man. The purpose of calling any minister of God is to wash the souls send to them with the sound Word of God not to change the message of the cross to prosperity and achievement of one goal or destiny here but to preach the Word that will make man to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. The purpose is to bring forth the fruit of righteousness, holiness and to inspire them of watchfulness for the Lord’s return.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:  that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you (John 15:16)

The purpose of our calling is to bring forth fruit and that the fruit should remain and abide in Him. God calls us to salvation and His abundant life, to partake of His life and divine nature so that we can bring others to Him to come and experience such life. He is Our Dresser, Guide, Providence, and our all in all. But we must cooperate with Him and be obedient to Him in totality. He says,

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away:  and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.  Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine;  no more can ye, except ye abide in me.  I am the vine, ye are the branches:  He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit:  for without me ye can do nothing  (John 5:1-5).

The living Father is the Chief Husbandman and our Lord Jesus is the Vine that bears as m
any branches that come to Him. He is the Supplier of all the spiritual gifts and strength of character we need. He wants to impart Himself to us fully so that we will be able to bear good fruit unto His kingdom. Abide in Me and I in you. If you see the way the branches of tree join tightly to the stock or the vine, you will know how close the Lord wants us to attach ourselves to Him and His Word. You will equally see that when the storm and the wind come, it will not be able to separate them. It is the vine that gather nutrient from the soil and supply to the branch. Our Root is Christ that has Divine origin i.e. Our Root is Christ in heaven supplying those who will faithfully attach themselves to Him in the study of His Word and constant communion and prayers and meditation on His Word will partake of His life. The apostles just obeyed our Lord hook, line and sinker. They said,

It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables …. but we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word (Acts 6:12:4).

They simply follow the verses of the Scriptures and the miracles, signs and wonders attended their ministry, they got many souls converted within short
