Chapter 5
“Hey, you ok?” Aria says, looking concerned.
“Um, yeah, I'm good, you?” I ask her because somehow, she got paired up with Michael, that little ass that I hate so much because he shouldn't be with Aria since he had a girlfriend!!!
“I think so. Oh, gosh Mia, I’m going to puke, I can’t do this! I mean, I still have feelings toward him, I think?” Aria says looking like she is going to puke. She looks a little green. Damn it, this is going to hit so hard…
“Look calm down, I mean you got Michael, your, um, before crush, and I got Jackson...” Just saying his name makes me want to throw up. Now I feel just like Aria. Why me, just why.
“And you’re ok with this? I mean, I think Mr. Davon will switch you if you don't want to be with him.” She says because she knows I don’t want to be with him, or see his face, or talk to him.
“Dude, its ok, I got this, don't worry about me”. I say, acting calm, but I’m not. I think I am going to have a heart attack, which would be kind of a good thing since it would save me from doing the project with Jackson…
After Mr. Davon calls out all the names, he tells us to get together with our partners, which of course makes me almost have a panic attack.
“Hey, I’m going to go talk to Michael, I gotta try to make him do half of this shitty project, I will see you after class, ok?” She says while smiling, but I know she is forcing it.
“Um sure, I have to go anyway, wish me luck!” I say while rubbing the back of my head because I feel like I got hit by someone that will control me which will make me fall in love with him more.
“Good luck!” Aria says while walking away to Michael. Just kill me now. I can't take this anymore, I just can’t. I bend down to get my bag so I can't walk over to Jackson’s desk so I can finally get this hell over with and hope I live until the end of the period.
“Hey”. I turn around and as soon I turn, I see his face, his beautiful tanned face. Why. Why does he have to look so hot, so sexy, so everything!
“Um I, I, hi...” I said. I stuttered. I stuttered just saying hi! What happened to me? I’m pretty sure Aria is laughing at me, although of course I am too.
“The name’s Jackson” He says while giving me a smile, which makes my heart flip around out of my chest.
“Uh, I know, I have been in your class since the beginning of the year,” I say, while thinking that he is dumb for saying his name. Obviously I already know it.
“Oh, I um, I thought you didn’t know it. I have never talked to you so...” OMG is he blushing? Why is he blushing? Just because I corrected him by saying that I already knew his name? For knowing that he has been in my class since the beginning of the year? Oh well. His problem, but will turn out to be mine.
“Oh well, I mean, um, you know what? I’m just going to get out the notes and we can start coming up with some plans on what to do with the project, ok?” I say just letting out the tension between us.
“Yeah sure, I do have some ideas, if you would like to hear them?” Jackson says while putting his hand through his hair. Damn, that boy is cute.
“Of course, I would love to hear them, it’s a project, we are supposed to be working together. I would love to hear your ideas”
“Great!”. He says while smiling at me, showing his white perfect teeth making him look even hotter and cuter than I realize. Curse my selections in men!
