  “Sorry I had to sedate you.” Melanie told him when he woke up. “You were acting a little crazy. We thought a good nights sleep would get your thoughts straight.”

  “Sorry about that.” Tom told her. “Looking back at it, I did jump to some crazy conclusions. I want you to know I’m real sorry about having endangered everyone lives, I really don’t know what came over me.”

  “We still don’t know what made you pass out,” Melanie told him, “But once we are in communication with Earth I’m sure they’ll figure it out.”

  Tom laid back and chuckled about how he thought space bugs had taken over the minds of the crew. He felt great pleasure in knowing he was mistaken.
