didn’t like the idea of all his regular patrons being thrown out and phoned the police.
When the police arrived Poppy was amicable, and left without too much protest. But once the police put him in the back of their van to remove him from the scene, Poppy went into objection mode. Every time the police tried to drive off, Poppy used his massive size and weight to rock the van from side to side, making it impossible to drive.
After some quick negotiations it was agreed that I will take Poppy home, and he promised that he will never try and quench his thirst in that bar again.
Some towns may be small, but they do have those really big, interesting characters living down the road!
