Veg’ing on the couch with my roomies and a midnight snack after my kissing fest with Jake, I felt a little bit icky for kissing not one, but three guys in the same night. Though, I really didn’t want to count the second kiss by jerk face Damon.

Megan and Rachel had both been working the “Date-like-a-Man” plan, too, and had had their own kiss fests also that night. Everything seemed to be going smoothly for them, and they were actually having fun with it.

I tried to ignore the icky feeling I had. If the guys could do this without feeling bad about it, then I supposed I could too. I would just have to get used to it, but I still didn’t understand how this type of dating was more rewarding for them. But it was a man’s world, and if I wanted to compete then I had to adjust.

I made an excuse to my roommates that I was tired and went to bed. I hoped the next day would be better and that the horrible feeling I had in my gut would go away. I was surprised that after just one day of the “Date-like-a-Man” plan, I was already over it.

I was excited for my date with Scott tomorrow, though. Especially because it was an actual date. He had called yesterday to confirm that we were still on for it; a complete contrast to the way most guys operated these days. Just the fact that he was thinking about our date and planning for it made my insides tingle. He was so cute. I finally fell asleep thinking about how sweet Scott was.
