I would like to dedicate this book to everyone who has ever been cheated on, cheated on someone or is thinking of cheating on someone. As you read each piece, take time and make it personal. It is my hope that you experience every emotion that went into each piece. As we live, we learn, as we learn, we grow and as grow we take on the responsibility of mentoring another. This is my way of mentoring another.

  LOVE TURNED TO TEARS

Have you ever met someone and knew it was meant to be. Only to find out later that they didn’t feel the same way. You tried your best to make them happy, but everything you did was wrong, and every time you wanted to go out, they haven’t any time or else they wasn’t home. Then when you confessed your wrongs it seemed to make things worse, that you wish you hadn’t told them because you hate to see them hurt. Then one day without warning they take your heart away, put it in their pocket, and goes about their way. You’re left not doing what you know you should do, CRY.

LOVE TURNED TO TEARS PART TWO

I gave you the moon, the sun, and stars. I gave you all the light in my life. I gave you my yesterday, today, and tomorrow. All the time I had. I would have been with you when sick, and when well, for beauty, because ugly you never could be. I say that I would have, but to be true to myself, I should say I would, because I still will today.

  NO TEARS CAME

No smile, no love, no happy faces at all. When on that day long ago they all went away. I cry because I know I am the reason they quit. I am the reason every woman I love walks out of my life and I am left alone. Wave’s crash into the sand and the sand becomes mud and packs together. Women pack together to heal and reveal secrets they vowed to men never to repeat and its funny because- who cares? Ruin your life and destroy the other woman’s as well. No tears from my eyes will fall. No tears at all.

  TWO FLOWERS

Two flowers in a garden grew, side by side, both in love and few knew what it was to feel, the rays of sunshine on a winter day. These two flowers grew together and spent nights thinking of the other, and though their buds got heavy, the echo of the slamming doors, kept them both awake, yet, somehow time had passed to quick, each day being a day closer to death.

p.s. Death= the breaking up of a pair by unreasonable circumstances.

  STILL I CONTINUE

Shadows are upon my heart but the sunlight made them all. So I can’t stay in this commercial, or I might miss the starting act of life. I’m hurting but in time I’ll heal. I must go on; I can’t stay still.

  IT FEELS GOOD

Doesn’t it feel good, to know that you’re loved? That every time you pick a rose it reminds you of someone so dear. How every time that you do right, your heart gets filled with cheer. It feels good just to know that someone somewhere is praying that you were near… so they could see your pretty smile. So they could wash away your tear. So they could hear your lovely voice once more, and their heart finds love in someone so dear.

  IT’S YOU

RSVP: To every young brother looking for someone to love. It’s all about how you approach a girl that earns you more of her time. It’s not your mack or the lies you tell that lead up to another lie. It’s not that “yo baby, you fly, check you out” that makes you special in their eyes. But it’s you and the way that you carry yourself.

  WHAT I WANT

I never want to lose my heart. I want to find a love that will never part. I never want to feel the pain of love departing without goodbye. But yes, I want to love again. I forever want to feel the touch of gentle hands and luscious lips, of narrow hips and nice brown eyes. I want to find that special female that’s smart, and talented, beauty that speaks, walks on two feet, has a goal and works toward it. I wonder will we ever meet. I wonder will it last.

  DEFINITION OF A KISS

What is a kiss, but a partnership of lips into a compound unit? What is its purpose, but as a smile formed on the lips for pleasure. A kiss is simply, deep suction; tenderly caressing the lips that are attentive in this act of goodness and act of love that turns one on.

  SWEET GOODBYE

A soft kiss leads to a warm embrace, or is it magic unfolding.

It’s what we wish for in our dreams of that special moment.

Inner peace and healing lips that wipe away all pain.

  Ending with a sweet goodbye.

Making one wonder, why did it end?

  LIFE THAT’S NOT POSSIBLE

Life without pain is no life at all. You could never cry and you couldn’t fall in love. You couldn’t love anybody. So therefore no one could get married. Everybody would just live their life forgetting about everybody else and life would be a bore. So I wrote this short rhyme to let everybody know LIFE IS A GIFT AND THE FEELING AND PAIN COME WITH IT.

P.S. Pain is a part of life.

Once you fall in love.  You will experience it more often.

  A BRIGHTER DAY

How could I hurt the one I loved so bad? I tried to make her happy, but

I made her so sad. How can I look into her eyes, I’m so ashamed. I

  don’t deserve her, but I love her….

I’m waiting for a brighter day. I’m waiting for the sun to shine again.

Our love is real I know. God he smiled on me, when he gave me you.

A brighter day will come again, but for now I’m happy being friends…

  UNMENDABLE FRACTURE

  I prayed for an angel.

She came I took her wings.

I prayed for a second chance.

She gave, I didn’t take it.

I prayed for her to understand.

She did, I confused her more.

  I prayed for her time.

  She gave, I wasted it.

  I prayed for her love.

She loved, I went on hating.

  I prayed for her heart.

Here it goes I broke it.

  If only you knew

I can’t express in words how I really feel. All I know is the love I have for you is truly real. Trying to express them on this page is too difficult a task. To let my emotions make a point might cause some a discomfort. The words would pierce down to the heart with power from the soul. No play will I perform, and if so the script would be reality. I won’t waste any more time. So I say to that girl. Even though you’re not with me, I pray for your happiness.

  Simple Secrets

  Prelude

We all seek for purpose; a plan so perfect, when activated our life yields to its greatness though our mind does not comprehend or realize the responsibility that unfolds with achievement. As great success becomes manifest so does great achievement. This ignorance of the pattern of results may be the single determining factor between your success and your failure. Success therefore, must be realized and foreseen, then we must prepare for success, if not when it comes it will be catastrophic instead. If one wants to move into a bigger house one takes on a second job, or simply a better job in preparation of more or higher bills to pay. When a woman is expecting a child, she lays money aside in preparation of prenatal care, clothes… Etc. Preparation is the key to achievement and the simplest secret of success.

  Secret # 1

The most powerful force in our lives determines the way we think, act, speak and dress. This force can make us great or worthless and becomes the force that it is with our permission. Is this force friends, -no-; it is simply our attitude which ultimately affects our thinking.

As youth we have all drawn future house plans, we have sat and imagined ourselves rich and prosperous working in our chosen field and living in our dream house. None of us ever dreamed of being poor and lacking the necessary requirements of clothes, food and shelter. We believed we were kings and queens entitled to the royal things of life. This is the mindset we were taught to have by our parents and grandparents. Many times we have heard “I want you to have more than I have be better than me” and “you can be anything you want to be, all you have to do is apply yourself.” At those times, we failed to realize the significance of what our parents was doing. It is these small statements that helped shape our personality, character, and most importantly our attitude.
