Later that night, Vertigo sat on the couch in the VIP section of Pacha NYC. The four-story nightclub was packed with sexy singles, and he was surrounded by body four bodyguards. Vertigo took a sip of his drink. He almost felt pathetic, hanging out at a club on Christmas. Of all the nights of the year, it should have been the one night when he was snuggled up by his fireplace with a beautiful woman all his own.

Vertigo had no problem attracting fine women. Even before he was famous, he always had his pick of the baddest chicks, but he struggled with intimacy. Vertigo couldn’t even be like most of his friends who kept a steady girl despite the fact that they were always creeping. Even a fake relationship was too demanding. He knew he had issues. Vertigo figured that it had a lot to do with Keisha, but he wasn’t the type to sit down on a couch and spill his guts to a shrink.

“We have a very special guest in the hiz-house tonight, and I’m about to give you a hint,” the DJ announced over the loudspeaker and Vertigo’s song came on; the crowd responded by shouting and dancing to the beat.

“What’s good? You see something you like?” Greg, Vertigo’s head-of-security, asked.

“I think we have a winner.” Vertigo took a sip of his cognac and pointed to a girl on the third floor. She was a Puerto Rican beauty with short, brown hair and a tight, silver dress that showed off her curvy body.

“You got hella good taste.” Greg smiled. “I’ll set it up boss.”

A few minutes later, like clockwork, the attractive woman was escorted into the VIP section and brought to Vertigo’s table. It was so easy that Vertigo only had a passive interest in her. After all, he’d done this many nights before.

“What’s your name, ma?” Vertigo smiled as she sat down next to him.

“Mariana.” She grinned as she touched his muscular arm. “And you don’t have to introduce yourself, I already know who you are.”

“Is that right?” When Vertigo first became a household name, he used to love the comfortable way strangers responded to him, especially beautiful women. Now, it hardly fazed him.

“I love your music; your album ‘6 Feet Below’ was the truth!”

“Thanks, ma. So tell me something about yourself.”

  “Well, I’m from LES.”

  “Where in LES?”

“I grew up on Avenue D. I’m 100-percent Nyurican baby.”

“No doubt. So what do you do?”

“I’m an actress and a model.”

He stroked her gorgeous face and said, “You got everything it takes to make it in the entertainment business.”

“Last call for alcohol folks!” the DJ announced over the loudspeaker. “Last call! Merry Christmas peoples. Be safe. I’m gonna send y’all home with a track from one of the dopest emcees on the planet. We got mad love for you Vertigo!” He played one of Vertigo’s songs.

Mariana swayed her body to the music. “This is one of your best.”

  “Thanks, ma. How about we–”

“Get out of here?” She stared into his eyes. “I’d love to, papi.”

In Vertigo’s bedroom, Mariana was the aggressor, ripping off his clothes and groping his body. Within minutes, he was lying in bed, and she was riding him. Her light brown titties bounced as she moved up and down. The way Mariana gyrated her hips and tightened her pussy muscles around his dick damn near put him a trance. She bit her bottom lip and locked eyes with him.

She moaned and said, “Does it feel good, papi?”

“Hell yeah.” Vertigo closed his eyes and tried to concentrate because he didn’t want to come yet. He was enjoying it too much.

Suddenly, she hopped off of his dick. Just as he was about to ask what was wrong, she turned around. Much to his delight, she started riding him reverse cowgirl style. The view of her round ass bouncing up and down on his dick brought him to the verge of climaxing. She massaged his balls and grabbed the base of his dick.

Vertigo’s breathing got heavier. “Damn, baby, you ‘bout to make me cum…” He closed his eyes, loving the sensation of Mariana’s pussy. She was so wet, it felt like he wasn’t wearing protection. In a flash, he opened his eyes and realized that she was using her hands to remove the condom. Vertigo loved raw pussy as much as the next guy, but he rarely went there with any chick. The last thing he needed was an unwanted baby or a disease. Early in life, he learned that most females couldn’t be trusted.

He grabbed Mariana’s butt cheeks and lifted her off of his dick. The condom was halfway off. “What the hell? Was you messin’ with the rubber?”

“No, papi,” she said, kissing his mouth. “Why would I do that?”

He pushed her away. “What the fuck do you think this is?”

  “Don’t be like that, baby.”

“Get dressed, and get the fuck out.”

Mariana frowned. “Papi, I swear I didn’t do nothing wrong. But you ain’t got to worry ‘cause I’m on the pill.”

“Whatever. I told you to get out.” He glared at her.

As she slowly climbed out of bed and started to get dressed, Vertigo came to the realization that he needed to stop dealing with random chicks and find someone real. Not just any woman, he needed a woman who wasn’t out to play games or trap him, a woman who he could love and respect, and most of all, a woman who would love and respect him. A woman like Angelique.
