Read Naughty, Naughty girl! Page 2

Indigo then slithered back to the house with us. I started packing my new snake skin bag. It was a beautiful blue colour. And it fitted everything into it.

  “Gran?”

  “Yes dear?”

“When will I visit you again?”

“Soon. Very soon I hope. Your mum will be surprised at your sudden behaviour change, it’ll take a while to sink in.”

Lisa thought about her words for a minute. Gran was right. She should have been better behaved at home, even though Mrs White was horrible. Oh yes, I got a letter about that. Two actually. Here they are:

  Dear Lisa,

I hope you are having fun at Gran’s house. I have found out how Mrs White treated you so I have sent a letter to her Boss and he is sending you a letter about it.

I now see why you were naughty. I hope Gran has been teaching you some manners! Also, when you write back to Mrs White’s boss, please don’t cheek him. He is a terrible tempered man, just like Mrs White.

  From your loving,

  Mum

  Xxxxxx

  Here’s the second letter:

  Dear Miss Lisa Primstone,

I am so sorry to hear that my employee, Mrs White, has been treating you badly.

There is no need to be afraid of her anymore. It seems a certain Mr Mouse is going to be teaching you, one of my higher employees, I hope that he teaches you well.

He will be teaching you Latin, Math, Literacy, History, Science and P.E (Physical education). You will be taken to an office to learn and outside on the field and take homework home to work on.

I hope this does not distract your studies,

  Mr Macsine

I sent him one back saying that it was totally fine, and that I would love to have Mr Mouse as a teacher. Then my life swerved. I was excited to go home. Very excited.

So when I went to bed, I was happy to think that I was going home the next day. Why? Because I was happy.
