PETER PORTE, COME BACK!
Everyone and their stepmother is trying to figure out a way to bring back talented newcomer Peter Porte after his sensational turn as Ricky The Psycho came to an end on Y&R. While some argue that Ricky isn’t dead (no one ID’d his body, etc), DAYTIMECONFIDENTIAL’s Jamey Giddens had a better idea: bring him over to Y&R’s sister soap, B&B!
Giddens wrote: “Recently ousted Y&R baddie Peter Porte would make a great addition in the role of Prince Kamir, the long-lost son of Dr. Taylor Hayes and her two-time captor Prince Omar! What if during one of her two stints living as Princess Laila Rashid, Taylor bore her Moroccan husband a son? Prince Kamir could show up in Los Angeles hellbent on confronting the mother who abandoned him to return to the children he's been led to believe she loved more than him. A new character like this, played by someone as dangerously sexy and talented as Porte, could drive story on B&B for years to come.”
Sounds good to me! And Porte, naturally, would only have eyes for Brooke!
