Chapter 28
A Little Help
Judas sat at his desk and watched the clock. He was excited and apprehensive. By tomorrow, it would be over and just beginning. The submarine and C147 were poised and ready. He received confirmation that everyone was in place to do what needed to be done. He daydreamed about the hordes of dark angels that would be swarming the earth again. He saw himself being honored by Apollyon for his leadership and courage against the light. He felt that this was to be the greatest moment of his life.
While Judas rejoiced over his planned victory, Jezzz and Young Herod arrived in Nashville late in the evening. They purposely stayed out of touch with Judas. They heard that thousands dark Nephilims were congregating at a hotel near Judas' office suite. They were preparing to celebrate when the darkness rolled over the earth. The hotel was reserved just for Judas' group. From their hotel, Young Herod and Jezzz saw the other hotel lobby with tall formidable men and women unloading from limousines, one after another.
"How will we kill him and get out alive?" Jezzz asked.
"We probably won't," he stated flatly.
"Thanks, I needed to hear that. You're comforting," she replied sadly.
"It wasn't meant to be. I was being realistic. I'd like to spend this evening holding you tonight. I'm sorry it has to end like this. We could have lived a long life together, had children, brought them up living for the Lord," he said as he reached for her and held her tightly in his embrace.
"Don't be so pessimistic. Maybe Joseph will show up," she encouraged.
"Joseph, one angel against a thousand Nephilims. What good will that do? I have only so many Nephilim tricks to pull," he replied despairingly.
"Hey, give me a break, will you?" replied Joseph as he sat in a chair in the corner. "You didn't think I would abandon my favorite Nephilims, did you?"
Jezzz shrieked, "Joseph! Oh, praise God, you're here!" They ran to him as he stood up, and got buried in his immense frame with hugs of his own.
"Hey, I'm sorry guys. Did I break up a pity party?" he remarked, laughing loudly. "I brought a friend."
From behind them, appeared Isaac. He was taller than Joseph, and his blackness was set off against his white-terrier beard. He smiled broadly at them, then Joseph and Isaac pulled out their massive swords.
Joseph announced, "We brought our Judas toothpicks too."
"Holy cow!" exclaimed Young Herod. "You're here to help us kill him, not turn him into fish bait!"
"Well, I've been practicing my Aaron move. He just may be fish bait if I get a chance," Joseph announced, proudly.
Isaac illuminated them on the Aaron move, "Aaron is our commander. He cuts his foe from the top down. Of course, his sword is a half-foot wider and longer than ours. Every dark angel is afraid of him. These dark Nephilims will soon find out why."
"Jesus ordered more of us to help Star and Day. Their dad, Caleb, is with them. Aaron and Irish will be joining them shortly. It's a regular reunion. Those Jesus Priests' imposters don't have a chance."
"What about the abyss? How have we decided to handle it?" asked Young Herod skeptically.
"Jesus and Father God are going to take care of that personally. Can't let us have all the fun, right?" he asked and commented.
"There's a ten-hour time difference. I want you and Jezzz to meet us downstairs, and we'll go over to the hotel just before midnight. We heard that Judas decided to have a big celebration about that time. We'll have to wade through all of them to get to him."
"Oh, Young Herod, let's get your bride some new clothes. I don't have a thing to wear that doesn't show blood," Jezzz stated mischievously. She was going to live her life out with Young Herod after all. At least the odds were far better than they had been a minute ago.
"We're going unseen to the hotel to visit. You two just spend some quality time together. Get some rest. Call the front desk and make sure you get a wake up call. Don't want to miss all the fun, okay?" They both nodded in agreement as Isaac and Joseph disappeared.

Good Ole' Dad
At this same time, Star walked into Day's room. Day remarked, "You look wonderful. You look like you're aglow, Star."
"I've been with Jesus. He washed my feet and prayed over me. Caleb is coming, soon!" she announced loudly. They both grabbed each other and started jumping up and down in one spot again.
"Hey, daughters, I hear you need your old man's help," stated Caleb as he watched them fall backwards as much from his looks as surprise.
They stood up without saying anything and looked at Caleb with his wings completely exposed. He was so beautiful, and the glory of heaven was dripping off him. They rushed him together and held him so tight he could barely breathe.
"Okay, okay, girls, easy. I'm not as young as I used to be. Only a little over five thousand years," he laughed, but they didn't let go.
"You both are the spitten' image of Sal. I am so proud of you two. I guess we need to talk, don't we? Do you two have a plan? I got Aaron and Irish coming, shortly. Aaron sent Joseph and Isaac to help Jezzz and Young Herod take care of Judas."
"Can we five take care of those guys, tomorrow?" asked Day.
"You said it right. Five and they have five. Seems, evenly matched to me. I'm sorry, that's not true. No Nephilim is a match against an angel. I don't think it's fair at all, now."
"Great!" exclaimed Star, "I hate fair!"
"That's my girl. Now, let me introduce you to Aaron and his own, Irish," he said, then looked behind him.
Nothing prepared them for Aaron's size. He was taller and even more massive than Caleb. Behind Aaron, appeared Irish. She was adorned with multiple rainbow colors, even rainbow star eyes and was wonderful to look at. All those childhood memories came flooding back—they were eight again. She slipped past Aaron and Caleb and reached for the girls. They felt such a sense of peace within her hold, even more than from Caleb.
"I know you probably don't remember me," she said with a deep Celtic, Irish tone that was singsong and soothing.
"Oh, no. We do! We do! We were just talking about you the other day! We remember you! We can still remember how we felt that day. It's just the same. It's wonderful," they said, alternating their acknowledgment between them.
"Great, then I owe you an explanation of why you feel so good when I touch you. I'm heir-servant. I was created to bring humans peace and comfort. My aura does that. All dark angels know that I am off limits for war and battle. We are in a protected status, like those with red cross symbols on their back."
"You are so beautiful," replied Star in amazement.
"Thank you," said Irish.
"Thank you, and I agree," said Aaron, who came from behind Irish and put his arms around her waist, then kissed tenderly on her neck. "She is my New Jerusalem bride. We have sworn an oath to spend eternity together. New Jerusalem is closer than you think."
"You fall in love in heaven?" asked Star, impressed by Aaron's affectionate display.
"Can't have heaven if there isn't any love. Sal spends all her time with Caleb. Ask him?"
Both the girls went quiet at Sal's name. They wanted to see their mom; but knew, they'd have to wait. It was with a little sadness that they turned to Caleb to see what he would say.
"Sal and I are still an item. I loved your mom on earth, and we continue to be together now. We watch every move you make. I've been given strict orders from her to make sure you live long and prosper. She doesn't want to see you for a very long time. She loves you very much." Caleb noticed that the girls were overwhelmed with all this. They sat down on the bed together, then leaned against each other in joy and pain.
"We're going to leave you alone for a while. We'll be back a little later, and we can work out all the details, " Caleb replied as they all disappeared before them. They sat together, not saying a word for over an hour. Finally, they rolled to the foot of their beds in prayer.
