One night my three friends and I went camping. After we started the fire we started to tell stories. The one that stood out the most was the one Ryan told. Ryan said, “If you hear an owl hoot you will turn into an owl.” When Addi, Taylor, Ryan, and I went into the tent we got tucked in and slowly fell asleep. Addi suddenly woke up and of course knowing Addi she woke all of us up to. “Oh sorry I didn’t mean to wake you up to,” she said. “It’s ok,” we say all together. “What happened to you!!” Taylor shouted!! When Addi tried to talk all that came out was “Hoot watch hoot out!” At first we didn’t know what she was saying. Then it became loud and clear. Last summer Ryan took Addi, Taylor, and I camping. We were in this very spot. Something very strange happened that summer. Ryan never had the guts to tell us. But when Ryan saw Addi she knew what she had to do. Ryan said, “Last year when we went camping my dad went in the woods to find us water.” When he came back he was just like Addi. “What do you mean!” I ask. “I mean,” Ryan began but stopped. “I mean that Addi is special.” “She can see the future and send you back to the past.” “she can do much more than that best she is still young.” Ryan said. “ If you are chosen by Lucas D Martin and you come to this very spot you will turn into an owl.” I don’t know why Addi and my dad were chosen” “I think it has something to do with your birthday.” Taylor, Ryan, and I looked around, it was Addi! “What do you mean we all whisper. “I mean Ryan’s dad’s birthday was on July 13th which is a Friday! “My birthday is today June 13th Friday.” Did you go camping last year with your dad on his birthday!” “Yes” said Ryan. 10 years later Add, Ryan, Taylor and I were still best friends and trying to figure out the mystery of that one night in the woods.
