bravely but succumbed to a single blow from an Orc. His eyes opened wide as he saw Trolgar kneel over him. Helm says “I will die today”. With tears flowing down his cheeks Trolgar shouts to him “no you’re not! Please uncle stiller”. “I love you. And I want you to live. Save yourself. Do it for me please” said Helm. Trolgar then watched the life fade from Helm’s eyes. Blood was rushing, tears were rolling. Trolgar picked up an axe and looks to where Nero was. He saw something astounding. Some Goblins surrounded Nero, thinking he was one of their own. They were killing Humans, other Orcs and Trolls but not the only Goblin in the Stunt Village. Nero was wounded and the Goblins were protecting him. Nero was not lashing out at them. He hadn’t fought any Goblins so far. It was a natural for Goblins, they could never kill one of their own in any situation. The two lock eyes, Trolgar could not understand and was somewhat disgusted. He did not intervene and did as Helm told him. He escapes. He darts through the fighting and heads for the coast. He jumps in a small fishing boat and paddles eastward but by the time he ran to the beach, his entire village had been slaughtered. Possibly Nero was still alive. Elis was watching far away and as he saw the remaining Troll whisk of in the small fishing boat, he shouted “wherever you are headed to, I will conquer it and kill you!” Trolgar paddled furiously, not wanting to respond. He had also seen the large ship with a siege engine mounted on it and the destroyed village harbour. His home was gone everything he had known was destroyed for good. His guardian was dead and all the faces he had grown up seeing lay dead on the same grounds. Nero was still alive however. But after seeing what happened, Trolgar isn’t sure if he shouldn’t be angry at Nero.

Elis scours the battlefield, a feeling of grief and regret soon overwhelms, realising the extent of his current destructive power. Still feeling his initial mission to take over Paradon, he tells himself that it was necessary to do so, which even he cannot accept. A tear rolls down his cheek when he had a chance to be out of sight from his companions and beast warriors. But he shrugs it off and buries the sorrow in himself. In any case he had already set the wheels of war in motion.

Allan had told Nero exactly where to go from his coast to the coast of the Paradon mainland in the Ranicus area. It would take Trolgar many weeks to reach the west coast, let alone find Allan. Trolgar is going to find it hard to meet Allan. The kingdom of Unodos stood in his way on the mainland before he could even see Hetheil. Trolgar was told to be weary by Allan and Capurnicus of the Unodites. If they see him, they will kill him, because he is after all a Troll. Allan told Trolgar that his safety is guaranteed if he enters Hetheil, because Allan has made it clear to the Hetheilian people and army that any Troll before the wall is a friend of the kingdom. Allan had also given Trolgar a map of Paradon, helping Trolgar to identify which kingdom he was in and which direction he had to head. Trolgar was determined to find Alan to tell him of this brutal conqueror that sacked his village and murdered all his people. His mind was set on revenge and nothing else. Anyway, what else has he ever lived for. Everything he has ever known has been destroyed.

After nearly three weeks of Travelling a disheartened and malnourished Trolgar was in southern Hetheil. He had just braved through sparse terrain, marshes, and the war weary kingdom of Unodos. He had the great city of Ohith in his sights at last. He was dazed and disorientated, unfamiliar with the landscape, he was unable to adequately provide enough for himself. But his will pushed him forward. A soldier on the outskirts of the walls of Ohith spotted him. The soldier proceeds to confront Trolgar. Mounted and some feet from the tired Troll, the soldier said somewhat grudgingly “what is your business here Troll?” “I need to see Allan. Your kingdom. Everything is in danger” said Trolgar, who was actually dying for a drink. Trolgar then took the map Allan had given to him from his satchel and showed to the soldier. The soldier looked at the map and noticed Allan’s hand writing all over it. The soldier nods and proceeds to escort Trolgar into the city. Trolgar was astonished at the immense stone walls that surrounded the massive city and the many soldiers that were swarming around it. The gate opens, it was overly complex to Trolgar having grown up as a farmer and hunter gatherer. The soldier brings him down the main lane towards the palace. The Hetheilian citizens could not comprehend what they were seeing. A beast had just entered their city but he was not chains or in a cage. He was a friend of the kingdom. The people were dismayed, some were smiling, others were dumbfounded and one or two in the crowd were displayed expressions and gestures or disgust and hatred.

The pair reached the palace. The gates open and Allan rushes out of the building. Trolgar’s escort leaves the palace grounds and Trolgar weeks now to Allan. “You look terrible Trolgar. Why are you here? What happened to you?” questions Allan, shocked at why he would come. “I cannot go anywhere else, you and this place was my only option” says Trolgar. Allan then invites Trolgar in the palace without hesitation. The two sit down at the dining table and Allan immediately gets a servant to bring some food for Trolgar. “Thank you Allan. I need to tell you all that has happened” said Trolgar. “Do tell” said Allan, quickly responding and worried. “Stunt Village has been destroyed. Helm is dead, everybody, they are all dead” said Trolgar as a tear started rolling down his cheek. “What?! Who? Who destroyed the village?” asked Allan, expressing some panic and anger. “I don’t know. I would not have known who they were. But there were four Humans, one was the overall leader. There were also hundreds of beasts that this overall leader commanded” said Trolgar. Allan becomes quiet and leans back in his chair. His eyes were ones full of hate and face was blank. Allan then raises his fist and bangs it on the granite table. His anger was becoming apparent. “It can’t be! It just cannot be” Allan cries. His body was shaking and his eyes fierce. “What can’t it be?” Trolgar asks. “My brother. He has destroyed your village. It must’ve been him” said Allan. Taken aback Allan stands up and says to Trolgar “I need a few moments alone with my sick father. This is too much. I will be with you shortly. We need to start preparing”. Allan then walks up the spiral staircase of the palace to see his sick father. Allan tells his barely conscious father of everything that has happened. He spends an hour in there, preaching and expressing of all his experiences and tells of the shocking revelations. His father now understands all that has happened and regrets what he has done. Allan leaves the room after nearly an hour with his father.

He sits back down with Trolgar. “Allan. The most frightening part of the attack were the fleet of warships the army had brought along. They were fitted with these giant war machines. It was a frightening spectacle” says Trolgar as Allan sits down. This too throws Allan aback. He has underestimated his brother’s capabilities. Realising now that Elis has been planning everything for a long time. “What beasts were under the leader’s command?” asks Allan. “There were three different beasts I could identify. Orcs, Goblins and a few Gargoyles. Four Humans led this army” Trolgar says. “Did anyone see you escape?” asks Allan. “Towards the end of the battle, I am quite certain many saw me dart through the battle with my bow, making a bloody pathway through the Orcs. Also, their leader saw me. He told me that there was nowhere else I could run to because he will soon conquer where I am going and kill me” Trolgar says. “That just makes me worry even more” Allan says in response as he tilts his head backwards and leans it up against the wall. “Allan there is nothing more that I want from you but to get my revenge. Give me the opportunity for revenge” Trolgar says. “This is his revenge. But he has taken it too far and we have to stop this” Allan says. Allan then asks a servant to fetch Capurnicus who was in the army barracks next to the city. “I hardly knew my brother, Elis but I do know where he is going to strike and the armies of Livonia have to prepare for a war, Paradon has never seen” Allan says, his eyes wide open and his fists clenching on the table. The two sit there for some time. Wilmot would later come in. After introducing him to Trolgar, the old man finally gets it just as Henriet did. Wilmot then says “ships you say? We haven’t had the need to use
boats or ships since the last time the Human kingdoms were at war with one another”. “We are going to have to pull off a miracle and build a fleet of modern war boats to fight Elis and his makeshift army” says Alan, in disbelief at resistance. “Lumbre did a good job, unfortunately. But if scum like him and your brother can manage, we too can pull it off. I will direct the construction of these ships. You must ensure in the meantime that you can re-establish our military agreements with the other kingdoms, we cannot do this without them” Wilmot says, looking Allan straight in the eye. Allan had every reason to work towards killing his own brother, Elis has slaughtered and destroyed an entire village, threatened Allan’s life and has brutal plans to take over the entirety of Paradon. Allan knows exactly what Allan is capable of. His brother has spent many years of his life up till this point preparing and planning for the future conquest of Paradon.

Over the ensuing weeks, Allan travels to the kingdoms of Koros, Diamonheim and
