  Introduction

Phoenix Initiative is a series staring Lasalle Cabellero, a twenty-something woman coming into her own. Trained by her mentor Caldwell who liberated her from child slavery when she was a very young girl, she grew with the desire to change the world and right horrible wrongs. She hunts evil people and captures them for her organization, transporting them to an island and into forced labor to better society.

She struggles to hold onto her relationship with Caldwell that blossomed when she became a young passionate woman. She is trying to grasp him and the deeper she delves into the secret world she's part of, he seems to be slipping away.

Ever notice that in the papers or movies, the bad guys always have the best stuff? Big houses, fast cars, safes full of money. The good guys never have any of the things they need. In my story the Phoenix Initiative hunt the transgressors, capture them, keep their resources: Houses, cars, money, etc... and use them to fund their entire operation.

I love this story. The relationships between the characters feel so real. I could write this series for the rest of my life and never become tired of it. I have six books mapped out and I will be releasing them as they are finished. There will be more to come.

I write about men and women the way I wish they were. With the way things are going in the world, we need heroes. I'm not talking about people with mutant powers. I mean people like you and me who have had enough.

I pour my heart and soul into every sentence, every line of dialog must feel like someone would actually say it before I would ever let it go into the book. My greatest desire is that my work takes you out of your everyday life and transports you into a world where you can make a difference.

I was tired of seeing so many evil people getting away with such horrid things in the news and around our lives. I know at times the police's hands are tied by their "rules" wouldn't it be amazing if we had an organized group who went after the offenders and made them feel the consequences for their actions? Death is too good for them. We have to stop killing our demons and start making them pay!
