Now she’s the no one talks to anymore.

  She’s by herself now,

  She knows it too.

But that’s the reason she still stands.

The world, it’s something that changes you in many ways.

The only person that can see the change is you,

  Or is it?

  “The Sky”

The sky is like a blank canvas

Paint it whatever color you want

It still looks like a sky

Blue, black, grey maybe even green

The sky can become any color it decides to be

And the prettiest colors of all,

Are the the colors the sky turns when the sun sets

  Pink, red, yellow, orange

No matter what color it may be

It still looks like a sky to me

  On a rainy day,

  On a sunny day,

  On a sad day,

  On a happy day,

A sky is still a sky no matter the appearance,

or what other people might say.

  “Morning”

  The morning isn’t quite hell

  Suffering, pain, a daily struggle

  But quite definitely not hot!

  An eerie, steady chilling breath

Constantly stuck to the back of my neck

  It is a daily labor

  I am submitted to it

  Unconditional punishment

  Looming menacingly over me

Is the fact that this will continue

For the remainder of my life

  Hard, physical work

To yank the ropes and pull out a wall

  It is moving mountains

To yank myself out of bed

Away from the seductive venom drug of sleep

But then it is a mental challenge

My eyelids scream to me to be shut them

A desperate attempt to block light’s reality

  Marching through my house

  I justgot up... dontbother me

  Yes

  homework is done...

I can’t think about that now

  I can’t even speak

Victory day! I savor her sweet venom

  Saturday! I suck sweet sleep

Delight my mind, seemingly eternal calm

The sun rose not even thinking,

just like a blue whale searching for a feeding ground,

when the whale reaches it, it’s ecstatic,

like the man who won the lottery,

What do you do after you have succeeded?

You’re done with life, but some human instinct wants you to go,

to look further, to get more out of life,

Humans have been moving for thousands of years,

  discovering new frontiers,

even to this day, as we explore space,

  we are expanding boundaries,

What happens when we reach the end of the world?

When we have explored all the frontiers and colonized all the planets?

We will keep pushing on without even knowing,

  like the sun rising instinctively,

the whale will push on to feed her baby,

through the pain the mother will fight,

she’ll rise to the occasion and explore for the benefit of her baby,

when the light recedes and the mother is shrouded in sand,

the world stops and sheds a tear,

when the sun sets the man in the hotel gazes out,

the whale, just another life fallen to the world we love is forgotten,

many will never be revived to see the humans pushing on.

Hair the color of lions fur

  Eyes green like a grape

Freckles like stars on a flag

Only three of a trillion things that make you beautiful

  Your obsession for pinkberry

  Working out with biggest loser

And getting mad when I hug you at school

Things that confuse me but make me laugh

Thank you for laughing at my weird jokes

  Dealing with my "difficult" friends

And for dealing with my imperfections

  I know there's a lot

I hope that I don't annoy you to much

I hope we go to pinkberry more

And I hope I relieve you from stress

  But most of all

I hope you always stay mine

A castle that stands high in clouds.

  On a mountain

  where birds fly high

  and the winds blow free,

sending big gust on your face.

The clouds float gently over your head

  and over the mountain.

The kids in the valley below feed the fish in

  the gigantic lake.

The barn and the bottom of the valley

  stands filled with people

  looking at the horses.

The other horses that are not in the barn

  run freely in the grass,

some have people on their back,

  others just wandering.

  The final part is mansion

that sits on the peak of the mountain,

it stands there like a crown on top of a head,

  it stands there lonely

while the clouds floating gently over it.

A girl of courage is all I see,

Her strength is the power that she needs,

The pain she feels won't bring her down,

  'Cause I know she will succeed;

A girl of strength is all I see,

  Her superhero helps her breathe,

The fear she feels will soon decrease,

  'Cause I know she will succeed;

A girl of confidence is all I see,

Her stage fright takes the fall,

The shame she feels has disappeared,

  'Cause I know she will succeed;

A girl of power is all I see,

Her chances will soon be here,

The tears she feels have gone away,

  'Cause I know she will succeed;

A girl of bravery is all I see,

  Her butterfly will never die,

  The name keeps her alive,

'Cause I know she will succeed.

  School is a jail,

  But we didn't do

  Anything bad

  To get in it.

  It's more by force.

  The food is some trash,

  Teachers are the police guards,

  Students are the prisoners,

And classes are our jail cells,

  Lunch is our "free time".

  When it's over

  We're released,

  and tomorrow

  We're brought back.

  We're free

  After we finish 12th grade,

  And start to get

  Locked up in pre-K.

  We all hate it

  But we have to come.

  That's why school

  Is like jail.

I remember the day of moonlight

  That was brought upon us

  Which brought us closer

That read deeply into our souls

You said you'd be here with me

  Always and forever.

  I left for a second

And know you're nowhere to be found

So i'm here without you baby.

  You came back to me

  A million years later

Where i spent most of my days crying

  Like an aba
ndoned butterfly without wings

Not being able to fly away

And not being able to be free.

My love for you was big

  Bigger than this universe,

But now my love for you despicable

I thought you were the one,

  But I guess not.

  I'm falling Apart

  And my tears run down

  Like razor blades.

  I've learned the hard way

That you're not Worth my time ,

  And one day i'll prevail

  To rise and shine

Until then you're an unknown factor in my life.

Why do people think that life's so great

All you do work, sleep, eat,

And some things I can’t say.

Maybe its the memory that everyone loves?

Or maybe it’s when they find that special someone,

  Hahahaha sorry not everyone can find that;

The only things they would have are 72 cats named fluffy

What about the adventure people have?

No, can’t be that they’ll only see it in a second. I don’t know why

People don’t notice this but in life every second counts

People wait till the last minute or do something

While they're young but in a second there gone in a flash before

You’re eyes. Don’t ruin your life because in a second it can be

  all gone.

Water thank you for taking my thirst away

Only your refreshing taste can save my life

You appear in most exotic places

Hydrogen and oxygen are your parents

Thanks to you we don't have to worry about sunny days

My taste buds love your extravagant taste

My stomach screams for joy to get you

My body feels energized when you are here

Dirt feels joy when it turns to mud

Flowers bloom when they taste water

Alien’s cry because they can't drink water

Water, thank you for being here to refresh me,

Without you my world would be tasteless, like poor aliens.

  Soccer is what I play

I would make it my job if I could

  Hunting for the trophies

  Crushing your opponents

  And laughing at them

  make you happy.

As I stand on a muddy field

  I hear a cheering crowd

But the only thing I notice

Is the voice of an annoying coach

Who yells at me during our game.

So the ball is at my feet

  But the clock yells:

  "You need to hurry"

  I challenge my opponent

  I have to be quick

I dribble up the side of the field

  Cut the ball in, cross

  And Goooaall!

I made my coach so proud.

  “A Morning”

I wake up in the morning

  With the sun

  Shining on my face.

  I hear the birds

  Chirping

  Their tunes

as they wait to be fed.

  Then I open my window

  To feel the sharp wind

  Of January.

  I see everyone walking

  With their coats

  And sweaters.

  Everyone is busy

  With their lives.

  Adults with jobs

  And kids with school.

  The cars all line up

  On the streets

  Creating everyone’s

  First problem

  Of the day

  Traffic.

  Even after

  The first problem

  Many more

  Are sure to come.

  But today

  I am free

  From all these problems.

  I am free

  To just enjoy

  The time.

  Because today

I am just going to stay at home.

  “Dreams”

As the sun shines in my face

I am dying under the moonlight

  which is burning my soul.

If I open my eyes I will be in heaven,

if I keep them closed I can dream.

  Heaven might be perfect

but I won't be able to dream.

In my dreams anything is possible.

  I am in control,

  I will make it perfect.

  I can see green fields

  filled with apple blossoms

far as the eye can see.

Hearing the laughter of children in the air,

Being able to hear the waterfall

  out in the distance;

  as it starts to rain

  making the rainbow disappear.

I am glad I choose dream.

  this is my world,

  I am in control,

  it is perfect.

  “The Almighty Queen”

She does what she wants without restrictions.

She creates and destroys, nothing in her way.

Tornadoes, the vacuums she uses to clean up our mess.

Volcanoes, the science experiments she makes.

Earthquakes whenever she slams a door.

  Hurricanes, her breathing exercises.

  Thunderstorms when she cries.

She is just like we are.

  All her emotions,

  Expressed in a variety.

  All the bad ones,

  Thrown straight at us,

And we can’t move anywhere else.

  She has a never-ending reign.

  Nothing can stop her,

  Nothing gets in her way.

She always gets what she wants,

  No matter what it takes.

She is the everlasting queen of this world.

And her name is, Mother Nature

Everywhere in the world clocks tick

From Big Ben to the one on your mantel

Humans are constantly looking at the time

  Always rushing, never waiting

Worrying about where you have to be and when

  Why is it so important?

The dog laying in front of the fire

  Does not care

At what time of day he is fed

Just as long as he is

  The fish in the bowl

  Spend its days swimming

  In a circle

  Forgetting things every three seconds

Why is it that humans are

  The only ones who care

What time of day it is

We are the only ones afraid of time running out

Fighting the end of our days

  Until our last breath

What if you had the chance to live forever

  Would you take it?

Would you be able to stare eternity in the face

  Knowing that

  You're all you have left

  Could you watch everyone

  you love

  Grow up, grow old

  Watch them live

And not be able to participate yourself

  To forever be a bystander

  The moment when time

  Is trivial

  You are lost

  To me

  Death is preferable to

  Forever

  The sun, warm and majestic.

Your hair tingles and shivers as you look at the spectacular star.

  T
hen suddenly, one drop of sweat slowly flows through your bright red cheeks.

  You love this feeling.

The rays shine hard on your brown curly hair.

But then a Nuclear bomb blocks out the sun.

  The sun's orange rays disappear.

The back of your hair coil up.

The warmth quickly turns to a cold, bitter, and nipping weather.

The one drop of sweat freezes.

The feeling has disappeared right from your gasp.

  You miss this feeling.

  The feeling misses you.
