  Digital Terror

"Timmy, are you ready for school yet?" Timmy's mom yelled from the top of the stairs.

"Yeah, I'll be right down." Timmy responded. Timmy came down and sat at the table to wait for breakfast. Timmy’s mom set a plate of bacon, eggs, and a pancake in front of him. After breakfast he headed off to the bus, “Have a good day,” his mother said as he headed out the door.

“I will,” he yelled back so she could hear him.

School was boring as usual to the 11 year old boy. At lunch he noticed he was given the usual, peanut butter and jelly and a diet cola.

After he ate he had about a half an hour before class was to start so he hung around the jungle gym. After school he missed the bus. This happens allot to him. He just called his mom saying he would be walking home again. On his way home there was a man with a digital camera trying to give it away. Actually he begging people to take it from him but everyone that passed him by just ignored him.

"Hey boy," he said to Timmy, "please take this from me, I really need to get rid of it." Timmy reached out it for it just to look at it, but as soon as it was in his hands the man ran off. Timmy looked over the camera and saw nothing wrong with it.

When he got home he told his mother what had just happened and gave her the camera, not really wanting it himself, after all he had allot nicer one. His mother scolded him taking the camera. But since he was honest about it, she told him if he wanted it he could keep it. He looked it over and decided it would come in handy should his ever break.

He stuck the camera in his dresser drawer and turned on his TV. He reached over for the remote on his nightstand and saw the camera sitting there. A little confused he put the camera back in the drawer and sat on his bed to watch TV. That night he got out his camera to compare the two. His camera didn't work. It had brand new batteries in it. He opened the battery compartment and noticed the batteries had leaked ruining his camera.

He told his mom what had happened and said he thinks his new camera is cursed and had something to with it. His mom just laughed took his camera so she could take it to get fixed, and sent Timmy on his way. When Timmy went into his room the camera was once again out of the drawer and on top of the dresser. He turned on the camera and took a couple pictures and printed them on his computer to see how well this camera did perform. They were the clearest pictures he had ever seen from a camera, but in ever photo he noticed what appeared to be some sort of smudge. It wasn't in the display of the photo on the camera screen. He thought it had something to do with his printer.

The next day at school he took his camera to show all his friends. He took a bunch of photos. When he got home he asked his mom to take him to develop them saying his printer was acting up, but it apparently wasn’t his printer because these prints had the same strange smudge on them. On each photo the smudge was at the top of the photo and a different shape in each photo.

When he got home with the photos he decided to lay the photos out and noticed the smudges lined up. He laid out the photos one on top of each other and it started to spell out something. He couldn't tell what it said yet so out of curiosity he took a bunch more photos and printed them. Once he lined up all the photos he could see what it spelled out. Timmy was stuck with instant fear as he read what it said.

Timmy, look out behind you. He turned around and... Little Timmy Johnson was never seen again. The camera and photos had disappeared as well and to this that strange man still stands on street corner somewhere in the world trying to give away his Digital Terror. So if you ever see a man trying to give away a digital camera just keep walking.
