he has said yes. But there is no official offer on the table that has been signed, sealed or delivered.

  • Funnyman Walt Willey thinks Prospect Park is great, but he has yet to be approached by them. Hey, at least you’re in great company, Walt!

  • Did our favourite Canuck hunk spill anything at the fan gathering? Nope! As the unofficial PP/AMC spokesperson, Cameron Mathison said he would let us know when more details are available and that he personally can’t wait until then! Tease…

Speaking of Mathison and Willey, head over to Facebook’s Soap Fans United page to learn more about the soap opera coupon campaign for a 24-hour suds channel here:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/167478526640752 [Ed. Note: Can you hyperlink?] The bold movement attracted some boldface support after Willey and Mathison both taped PSAs for the channel. Hurray! Naysayers be damned!

  • Scene-stealing sensation Jill Larson is the latest soaper who has been cast on The Bay! The acclaimed character actress will be playing Helen Kruegar, “a feisty defense attorney who’s brought in during a murder mystery.” Aren’t they all?

“We are ecstatic to have the talented Jill Larson join us in Season 2,” announced creator Gregori J. Martin. “This is my second time working with her. She is a powerhouse and I can’t think of a better actress to play this part.” Larson shoots her first scenes today, Oct. 28th, and will first appear on The Bay in early 2012.Here’s the season premiere eppy:

The Bold and the Beautiful, CBS — Network Interference! Princess Theodora Speaks Exclusively!

  • Loving the Eric and Stephanie storyline currently playing out? Me, too. However, don’t get too attached. The network has killed the critically acclaimed story about the lack of intimacy in a marriage. Yep, thanks CBS!

  • Another reason to hate Michael Fairman! The On Air, On Soaps founder/editor interviewed my future hubby, Brendon Villegas, from Big Brother fame… along with his fiancée, Rachel Rilley, via Skype to promote today’s B&B appearance. They also popped up this past Friday to mark their two-day cameo. Shocker! Head over here to witness the madness:

  • It’s all Greek and Danish to her: Princess Theodora tells Uncensored in an exclusive interview that her role as Bill’s personal assistant, Alison, may be recurring. The royal moved to L.A. from England to pursue acting… which is why she’s not playing herself. Go get ‘em, Theodora! Look for more on the Princess in a future issue.

Days of our Lives, NBC — Is Liz Coming Back?

  • Don’t tell Neil: Earlier this summer, Uncensored heard rumblings that our pal, Gloria Loring, could be returning to Salem (hey, that town needs all the romantic music it can get, STAT). And now it appears that a comeback could be in the works. The real-life mom of Grammy-winning recording sensation Robin Thicke revealed recently: "I had a meeting with the new co-executive producer of DAYS about Liz perhaps making a return visit.” Hurray! Maybe Liz and Stefano can have an affair behind Kate’s Botoxed back! And while we’re at it: how about bringing on Robin, too! Think of all the PR — and young new fans!

  • In story 411, Madison blows up at Sami; there’s a crisis for Jack and Jennifer (think snow); and John questions his sanity for the umpteenth time. I still think this show needs a major boost of energy and excitement despite all the storylines being sound and smart. But hey, that’s what happens when you start storylines all at once.

Dirty Soap, E! — Mama Bjorlin is on Twitter!

  • Lock up your followers, tweeps! Reality TV’s breakout star, Fary Bjorlin, has joined Twitter at @MamaBjorlin. Follow her — or else she’ll call you “stupid,” and redecorate your house!

  • After Galen Gering’s caveman parenting outburst this past week, God forbid either of his sons turn out to be gay. Yikes! Sorry, but snoozefest Galen and Jenna need to be recast, STAT!

General Hospital, ABC — One Less Cougar in Port Chuck? Franco to rape Sam?!

  • Could Carolyn Hennesy’s future be in question? Even the actress isn’t sure, she tells Uncensored of Diane’s future direction. Just in case, write into ABC to let them know you want more Diane — not less! In story 411, Diane leaves Sonny as his lawyer. Good for Diane; bad for Hennesy.

  • In story 411, the latest rumour is that Franco will rape Sam next week! D’oh! Will she become pregnant with the psycho’s baby? Well, if ABC wants to destroy GH, Sam will!

One Life to Live, ABC – Why Brandon Buddy Was Recast; Update on Judith Light and Robin Strasser! Agnes Nixon to play Fraternity Row’s head writer! More Comebacks To Love: Luna, Megan, Cole, and Charlie, ‘yo!

  • After one day of taping, Daytime Confidential stunned One Life fans earlier this week with news that Brandon Buddy had to be recast as Cole Thornhart after returning last week to begin his short-term return for the show’s broadcast finale. Broadway actor Van Hughes has stepped into the role of Starr’s baby daddy. All of Buddy’s scenes will reportedly be reshot with Hughes.

Why the emergency recast? Travis County Court records show that Buddy is due in court tomorrow on Nov. 4. Records of the Texas’s Travis County Criminal Court Docket by Defendant List (https://www.co.travis.tx.us/courts/files/dockets/dockets_Criminal.asp) shows Buddy was charged with injury to a minor/elderly/disable with intent and serious bodily and mental injury. As for Buddy, several co-stars are “heartbroken. It’s a very sad. He’s been battling demons for a while now.”

Uncensored wishes Buddy all the best. Cole’s return just won’t pack the same punch without Buddy.

  • Whoops! Uncensored erroneously reported earlier this week that Judith Light was returning for the finale when our setside sources spotted the name “Karen” on a call sheet last week. According to Herb Hamsher, Light’s longtime manager and friend, the Emmy winner is not reprising the role of Karen Wolek.

He explains: “Judith is opening in a Broadway show, Other Desert Cities, today.  The good news and the bad in terms of One Life is that Judith has been working nonstop.” This isn’t the first time Light has turned down a comeback. One Life invited the former Ugly Betty star to return for its 40th anniversary a few years back, but she declined then as well.

But Light did have a One Life reunion recently with her former co-star Erika Slezak. Hamsher shares, “Judith and I got a chance to connect with Erika at the memorial for [late, great director] David Pressman, but even then Judith had to duck out before the end in order to get to the theatre. That’s how busy we are!”

Uncensored apologizes for the bad information, but it is weird that One Life would name a new character after the iconic role Light played during the show’s last air month.

  • Earlier this week, Uncensored suggested One Life reference soap-within-a-soap Fraternity Row to pay homage to one of the show’s best storylines and also remark about the myriad changes happening in daytime in tandem with the sudser’s cancellation. Well, TV Guide’s Michael Logan is now reporting that creator Agnes Nixon will fittingly play Frat Row’s head writer in a smart cameo before the finale. I wonder who will play Nixon’s evil network boss?! I suggest Brian Frons. FYI: Nixon last appeared on One Life during the 40th anniversary. The Emmy winner — and living legend — appropriately played God.

  • As One Life inches closer to its broadcast finale airdate this January, more and more of its “end story” is being revealed. For starters: Joining previously reported fan favourite returns Catherine Hickland, Tonja Walker, Fiona Hutchison and Tuc Watkins are True Blood’s Jessica Tuck, Susan Batten, Brandon Buddy and Brian Kerwin. In fact, fans outside the ABC studio shot many
of these stars late last week.

But the big whopper is Emmy winner Judith Light! While no one saw her enter or exit the studio, Light was on the One Life call sheet for Friday with numerous scenes to film! I knew it was going to happen! But don’t quote me yet because Light may have had to reschedule her tape date due to her commitment to Broadway show, Other Desert Cities. Stay tuned! (Editor’s note: see an updated news item above for more on Light)

And Venice fans, listen to this: Crystal Chappell, who played Maggie Carpenter, is scheduled to be in New York for a couple of weeks…. Is she headed back, too? Hmmm….

  • Meanwhile, ABC insiders are stating now that One Life will be staying at their current studio at 320 W 66 St past their “official” last tape date of Nov. 18, due to the fact that Katie won’t be up and running for a while.  Apparently, Prospect Park will pay the soap-killing net to use the studio rather than let it sit empty without revenue. Date ranges being bandied about are from November to March of next year.

  • Concerned fans are wondering if Emmy-winning diva Robin Strasser will reprise the role of Dorian before the show wraps up on TV, but a high-level source tells Uncensored that they have asked her back numerous times! However, Strasser has allegedly declined due to “scheduling” issues. Which may explain why La Strasser isn’t being approached by Prospect Park because she’s being “difficult as usual.” Oy! Meanwhile, other sources immediately defended Strasser by saying that the actress wasn’t being difficult but was sick during the request. I don’t care: I just want my Dorrie back, damn it! Make it work, guys! And get better, Robin!

  • Anyone know any good hackers — or thieves? Head writer Ron Carlivati, who has gloriously given back and restored my all-time favourite TV show ever to its former glory, was spotted outside the studio recently holding the last script for One Life — and he says, “It’s going to be a doozy!” Gotta run now… I have an errand to do! (Victor is alive?!)

  • In story 411, John will find out about Liam’s paternity during November sweeps. And yep, Téa is pregnant with Victor Victorious Junior’s junior! That’s what he said. Look for a super-“emotional” scene between Téa… and wait for it… John! Hmmm X 2!

Also, there’s a growing rumour that Kim and Cutter are Max and Luna’s twins! It would make sense, besides the fact that James DePaiva and Susan Batten are returning, that Max’s kids would turn out to be con siblings! Also, wasn’t Max involved with a Wentworth back in his day when he first hit Llanview? Hmmm…. If it’s true, I’ll have to blow scribe extraordinaire (this year, at least) Ron Carlivati for his latest ingenious plot/character twist because most of us originally thought Cutter and Aubrey (not Kim) were intended to be C.J. and Sarah Roberts. I still say Josh Kelly should be playing C.J. because the actor sports strawberry blonde hair, à la Tina and Irene.

  • Wouldn’t it be hilarious and witty if Bo mentioned that the Llanview soap he produced, Fraternity Row, was moving online, too? Could be a creative way to cross promote One Life’s move online. But what do I know?

  • The best recast in One Life history, Trevor St. John, spoke in depth to Michael Fairman over at On Air, On Soaps!
