a journey… and it developed and ended in a natural order.

People forget how popular “Sexis” and Carly were. You guys were on the cover of SOAP OPERA DIGEST every week.

Right. I know! And then Bob came back and that was the end of that.

Alexis and Sonny wouldn’t be my end game but there is so much unfinished business between them. And I think Alexis is the only character on the show that could possibly salvage Sonny.

I wouldn’t mind exploring that. Clearly, Alexis is not the love of Sonny’s life. The problem with Sonny is that he has too many loves of his life! I don’t think the chemistry between Maurice Benard and Laura Wright works; it’s not the same as it was with Mo and Tamara Braun. He’s had so many lovers… how many times can he play Romeo? You can’t fight gravity… and I’m not talking about age… I’m talking about the gravity of life. At some point, Sonny’s going to have to evolve and learn. You can’t keep doing the same thing over and over again without it destroying your life. Sonny needs something and someone different. The older you get in life, the “in love” aspect of love changes to the “quality of love.” He likes Alexis and respects her more than any other woman in his life. I think that’s important. Sonny respecting a woman has as great a meaning as him being “in love.”

  I agree.

From what I can tell, Ron has great sensibilities. I don’t want to shove my head up Ron’s ass for publicity sake. I can’t imagine what he’s dealing with right now trying to clean up the show. There isn’t one actor I’ve talked to from ONE LIFE who doesn’t like him. That says a lot.

  A lot!

I just want to tell the truth. All I know is that I only have six scripts from him and Alexis is just a facilitator at this point, but after our conversation, I know I’m impressed and have great hope and faith in the show’s future. And that he’s going to do something for me that I have never done on the show before.

Just keep the blue, booby dresses! Finally, are you joining THE GROVE, Crystal Chappell’s new web series. Chaps keeps begging you to on Twitter!

[Laughs] I know! Crystal and I have to have lunch first. First of all, ABC won’t let me do it. My agent already asked them and they said no. I have one out in my contract — and that’s to do BACK TALK and that’s it.

How great is it that Chappell values the caliber of acting and talent in the daytime community — especially women?

She’s fantastic! She’s such a great broad; such a good girl. It takes tremendous energy for her to do VENICE and THE GROVE. I want nothing but for her to succeed. I’m very impressed with her.

  Are you dating?

[Sighs] No. I tried. I’m terrible at it.

Me, too. I was talking to Michelle Stafford today, and we were commiserating what spinsters we’ve become. Maybe the three of us can star in our own sitcom: TWO SINGLE DIVAS AND THEIR GAY!

I just want to hang out with someone. Is that wrong? I say, “I could like you but can we just hang out because I’m content in my life.” Michelle and I were hanging out yesterday and we both agreed our lives are full and happy. Plus, I only have Kate for a few more years before she goes off the college.

I’m just as happy whether I’m single or in love. I’ve never dated. I’ve just met someone and fallen in love right away. So I can’t date… it seems so unnatural; almost like a job interview.

That’s me, too! Obviously it hasn’t happened yet, but I’m also not open to a relationship right now. Listen, I wanted nothing more to stupidly marry all those guys I dated back in the day; but now that I grew up, and it took a while, I have no interest in marriage! [Laughs]

Keep wearing those blue, booby dresses… and you may find yourself walking down the aisle soon! Those dresses are weapons of mass destruction!

  FALL OF THE MOUSE HOUSE

Who’s having a worse year more than ABC?

We’re not even one quarter into the new year, but ABC/Disney is already having a horrible year, mostly due to the idiotic, self-sabotaging decisions it made in 2011.

Ratings wise, the first four weeks of ratings are in for ABC's new lifestyle/reality program THE REVOLUTION and the news is not good. Versus ONE LIFE TO LIVE, the lifestyle show's ratings are down 50% in the key sales demographic of women 18-49. It is likely ABC expected some loss of audience with the new show, but the magnitude of that loss thus far is cause for concern.

According to reports, “even though THE REVOLUTION is cheaper to produce than a drama, these ratings losses are huge, and it may have a damaging effect on the program that follows it, long-running daytime drama GH. GH's ratings in the last four weeks are down 25%, or a 5% greater erosion than the show had been experiencing earlier in the season.”

It is likely ABC will be cutting back at least one hour of its daytime programming next season to make way for its affiliated stations to carry the new Katie Couric talk show.

Elsewhere, the ABC chat-fest THE CHEW, which replaced ALL MY CHILDREN last September, is also down in the ratings compared to the long-running drama, but these losses are likely considered acceptable to the network.

Meanwhile, in delicious news, Investor Services blasted Disney for giving CEO Bob Iger too much pay and power. Can I get an “Amen?” Amen.

A new report from Institutional Shareholder Services urged stockholders to vote against some of the company’s board candidates — and, in an advisory vote, to oppose the compensation agreement for CEO Bob Iger.

What’s that? Oh, right: Hello Karma! It’s about time you showed up. Iger is nothing more than a Judas and a corporate hack. This man was an accomplice — perhaps the mastermind — to murdering two viable soap operas and business models with one bullet on April 14, 2011. It’s shameful considering this douche rose up the corporate ladder after working as a production assistant on RYAN’S HOPE. Hey, Michael Fox: Can we use your Back-to-the-Future mobile to change a few things back in the 1980s?

Predictably, Disney defended Iger the next day claiming the ISS is basing its opinion on information that is “deeply flawed.” In addition, Disney claims advice from ISS is “ out of touch with shareholder interests.”

So how much money are we talking about? ISS reports that Iger’s pay package will rise to $30 million from $26 when he becomes chairman. ISS points out that salary is too high considering the “lackluster shareholder returns.”

  Um, you think?

  EMMY WATCH 2012

Exclusive: Pre-Nom Ballot Revealed! Reel Info! Deadlines Revisited! Lifetime Achievement Award Chosen! Ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel?

We’re getting closer to the gold: The Emmy pre-nom ballot is in — and was made accessible to voters last month. The early deadline for the 2-minute reels was Dec. 22, but most actors and shows were given until Jan. 24 to submit. However, crews (like hair and makeup) will be allowed until Feb. 17 to submit their reels.

Great News: UNCENSORED has exclusively obtained the complete pre-nom ballot — and their submissions! Because we’re like that.

Also, a NATAS insider reveals that a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient has already been chosen. I hope it’s Susan Lucci!

As for the ceremony, if there are no takers in the broadcast arena, Melody Thomas Scott told TV GUIDE: “I was unofficially told that if nobody picks up the awards to televise them they are going to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Which is a great room, cameras or no cameras.”

Below is the letter NATAS voting members have received:

You are required to choose 10 performers from each of the six categories. This means that you are reviewing and evaluating the quality of work from all drama shows, not just your own show(s). You may make your selections either by clicking on the box to the left of the control number (which will mark the box with an “X”), or by marking the ballot manually.

The Pre-Nomination judging period for major categories ends today. Pre-noms were announced yesterday on March 2. Final nominations are announced May 4.

In the past couple of weeks,
