infrastructure construction businessman, essentially President Powers attempted to run the executive branch like he ran his own business. For that reason, the Commission members formed a consensus to nickname this volume, “The American Government, Incorporated.”

  Finally, this was a terrible time in American history. More than half of the population lost their lives, jobs, citizenship, became refugees, or deported to another country. America lost its way and lost its values that it holds dear. Subsequent presidential administrations worked to restore the United States and we the people did that. But the old adage says we are destined to repeat our mistakes. So this volume attempts to make those mistakes memorable to avoid making them again.

  THE UNORTHODOX 2032 ELECTION CAMPAIGN (June 2015 – November 2032)

  Thayer Andrew Powers announced on September 27, 2031 at a campaign rally in Powers Tower in Boston that he was a candidate for the Conservative Party nomination for President. Diane Barbara Anthony announced on October 10, 2031 at a campaign rally at Ohio Stadium in Columbus that she was a candidate for the Progressive Party nomination for President.
