Niko, just like you. Maybe you need more persuasion. Grab the newly engaged one.”

Yvette walked over and slapped Penelope until she became conscious. Penelope begin to scream. Yvette dragged her over in front of Carla and placed on her knees so she can look in Carla's eyes.

"This is the deal dear. I need two more sacrifices and you have three friends here. We have already begin scalping Brian so we can detach his skin from his skull. Jeff's already done as well. Two of your friends will die and you will remain here for the next month learning the ways of the Niko Tribe. Either you agree to my terms or she will be the first to die."

"I will stay dad; just let all of my friends go. I will stay!"

"No deal; I don't have time to go find two more bodies to sacrifice. So pick which two?"

"Carla kill me. I rather die with Jordan then to live without him". Penelope said.

"No, I can't kill none of you. Dad please let them go; I will go get the other bodies." Carla pleaded.

"You don't have the heart or training yet. She is volunteering; this should be easy for you." Her dad said.

Jordan and Rachel awakened to Penelope's sobbing. Jordan realized that he was tied up and couldn't make a move. He began to scream.

  "Let her go!"

"Oh the others have awoken," Carla's dad said, signaling the other two hooded men to bring Jordan and Rachel over.

  "Decided princess!" Yvette said.

"You have three options, two of them are going to die."

"Carla choose me and Jordan. We will die together!"

"Speak for yourself. Save me Carla, I don't want to die," Jordan pleaded.

Carla looked all three of them in the eyes. She looked at Rachel who was quiet but crying; she felt sorry for her. Through the fear she became angry at Jordan for just thinking about himself. She looked at Penelope knowing that she loved Jordan enough to die with him.

"You have ten seconds then I will kill all three" her dad said.

"No, please let us go." Carla pleaded.

  "10..9" he begin to count.

  "Please!"  Carla shouted.

  "8, 7, 6." He continued.

  "No!!!" Carla screamed.

  "5, 4, 3, 2," He counted.

"Okay. Okay. I will make a choice." Carla said.

"I am waiting." He said with a smile.

"Kill Penelope and Rachel" Carla said.

Penelope screamed until Yvette slit her throat. Rachel closed her eyes and the other hooded figure slit her throat as well. Carla screamed out watching her friends loose blood on the ground.

"Take these two and prepare their bodies for sacrifice. You made the right decision dear. Now you, Jordan is it."

"Yeah" he said with tears coming down his eyes.

"You will help us skin these girls or you will die. We are going to untie you; just remember my men will kill you if you try to run." Her dad said.

He reached down and cut the ties off of Jordan's wrist and ankles. Yvette lead the way into the woods so they could prepare the bodies.

"Now my dear daughter, it is time for you to embrace your heritage. Are you ready?"

  "Do I have a choice?"

"No dear. I love you with all of my heart but if you try to run I will take your heart out with my blade."

He walked over to her and released the chains for the stake in the ground. He led her over into the woods so they could watch them prepare the sacrifice.

"We sacrifice the skull with the brain inside. Giving the human mind back into the earth. We sacrifice a piece of the rib that covers the heart. Giving the person's heart back into the earth. The last piece is the Femur.  It is the strongest and largest bone in the human body; the person's strength is given to the earth."

  "For what purpose?" Carla asked.

"To give this land strength. This land use to be covered with Niko Tribe members; now it’s a wasteland. We give this land sacrifices to honor our heritage. To honor the Chieftain's daughter that lost her life to the white devils".

"So this is a big race war?"

"No it’s about life. The life of our tribe living on and growing."

They both watched as Penelope and Rachel were skinned. Jordan's hands were shaking and his eyes full of tears. Yvette handed him a hammer to break off Penelope's rib cage. Jordan realized that he had a blade in one hand and a hammer in the other. He looked up at Carla advising her to make a move. Carla looked and saw her dad to the left of her and a police officer to the right.

"Dear you will soon learn what it means to be a true Niko," he said with a smile.

  "Yes I will" she responded.

"I'm glad you are coming around."

Just then Carla pushed her dad over the hill then turned to the officer and pulled his gun. Jordan took the blade to Yvette's leg and the hammer to the hooded man's face. Carla shot the officer and then shot the final hooded figure in the chest. Jordan and her took off back to a set of bushes in front of the campsite. They watched as the other three officers came up the hiking trail to check what was going on.

Jordan hit one over the head while Carla shot the other two. They both took off running for the police SUV.

"Carla! Carla!" her dad shouted coming out of the woods.

She turned around and saw him with a bow and arrow aimed right at them. She stopped and yelled at Jordan.

  "Jordan stop!"

  "What?" he said, turning around.

"Good boy and girl! I should kill you both, but the sacrifices need to be made. You have killed everyone; now you must finish the sacrifices yourself."

Yvette came limping out of the woods with the blade Jordan stuck her with in hand. You can tell she was hurt bad, but she was still filled with anger.

"Kill them both! I am tired of these games. Both of them need to die!" Yvette said.

"Calm down Yvette!" her dad said.

"Kill them or I will kill them myself!" Yvette yelled.

"You will know your place and shut up!" he yelled at her.

While his head was turned Carla lifted the gun and shot Yvette. Her dad turned but she pulled the trigger and shot him too before he could aim his bow. She watched them both go down then her and Jordan ran to the SUV.

"Look for the keys. Can you find the keys?" Jordan asked.

"No it must be on one of the officers." Carla said.

"We have two miles to the road. Lets make a run for it." Jordan said.

  " I don't know if I can run again."

"We have to, I'm not going back to check dead bodies."

  "Okay let’s go!"

They took off running and completed the first mile back to the road where they found Jeff's Jeep. They both were winded and had to take a breather. Jordan had to ask a question that was on his mind since it happened.

"Why did you chose me?" He asked gasping for air.

  "What?"

"Why did you not kill me back there?"

"I wanted to fight." She said with her hands on her knees.

  "What do you mean?"

"There were two options. He was going to kill you anyway which he probably would have when you were done with the bodies or he was going to let you live. I knew with you alive I had the best chance of fighting my way out. Penelope and Rachel would have folded or died trying to escape. I bet on us escaping."

"Great plan I guess. We have one more mile until we get to the road. The sun is coming up soon and we should have some daylight."

  "Okay let’s run."

They both ran and could see Brian's car in the distance where they had left it. They rested there again and then finished the rest of the way until they could see the main highway. Just then they saw headlights behind them. It was the Sheriff's SUV from the camp. They began to run faster towards the main road. The SUV hit Brian's car and got stuck.

Carla turned around and saw her dad getting out of the SUV staggering towards them. She raised the gun to shoot but re
alized she was out of bullets. Jordan grabbed her and kept her running towards the highway.

  "Carla!" her dad yelled.

Jordan and her looked back as her dad fell to his knees. When they turned back around they saw a Native American Woman standing in front of them.

"Is that the ghost Brian saw?" Jordan asked.

"I don't know; but I thought this part was fake. She is real?"

The ghost gave an evil grin then extended her arm towards Carla's dad. She motioned him to come here and his body was dragged on the ground towards her. He passed right between Jordan and Carla as they stood there and watched.

"You have failed me. Sacrifices were not made," the ghost said.

"It wasn't me, it was them. They prevented me from making the sacrifices," her dad said.

"You are no longer needed," the ghost whispered as she sucked his life from his body.

"What are we going to do?" Jordan asked as he backed up.

The Ghost looked up at Carla and floated towards her. She floated right in front of her then possessed her body. Carla's body shook as Jordan stood and watched in terror. Carla stopped shaking as Jordan called her name.

  "Carla. Carla, are you alright?"

"There is no more Carla. Sacrifices must be made."

The Sun began to shine and Carla's body drifted back into the dark of the woods slowly. Jordan watched as she faded away. The Sun started shining bright as he ran back to the highway. As cars begin to pass he waved a car down until they stopped. He ran to the passenger side and got in.

"Thank you, Thank you. I don't care where you are going just please drive." Jordan said.

"Okay son calm down. I am Jasper, I have to make a stop but I will take you anywhere you want to go after that."

"I don't care I just need to go as far as way from here as possible."

"Were you over there at the campsite?"

"Yeah, I just had a really bad experience."

"City boy huh? You city boys always have a hard time when it comes to camping".

Jordan, relieved to be fleeing the camping site, started to reflect that Penelope and his closest friends had just passed away. The worst feeling was that he was going to have to explain what exactly happened in the woods. As he sat there and peeked outside the window he realized that Jasper was taking a dirt road headed back into woods on the other side of the highway.

  "Where are you taking me?"

"I told you I have to make a stop. There are some things I have to pick up in these woods."

"Let me out! I will get out right here!"

  "Now settle down."

  "Let me out I said."

Jasper brought the car to a stop and looked over at Jordan. He wouldn't unlock the door so Jordan could get out though.

"Can you please let me out?"

  "Rudy."

  "Who is Rudy?" Jordan asked.

Just then someone came up from behind Jordan and put a towel full of chloroform on his mouth. He tried to fight but he couldn't resist passing out. As he faded he heard Jasper speak.

"Son, Sacrifices have to be made."
