  It took Sidney less than ten minutes to find Bentley. An hour to know everything about her. Bentley’s entire life filled screen after screen, from DMV records, to credit reports. He had her Social Security number, job history, insurance policies, even the name of her OB/GYN.

  And he had the headlines she’d made all those years ago.

  He read, he memorized, he considered.

  With just a few simple keystrokes he could slay her the same way he’d slain himself all those years ago.

  But, no. That would not be enough. No, Jessica Bentley deserved his personal attention.

  She thought she knew him, but she didn’t know jack. She’d actually called him pathetic. Pathetic. Hatred blazed through him.

  In the end, he would save her.

  But first, first he would become the specter of her past.

  His hands trembled with anticipation as he finished the email and hit the send button on his keyboard.
