our defenses and protect the remaining ones.”

  Day 10

  Dear Diary,

Now that a few blocks were stolen overnight by an unidentified person, the Elder Guardians prepared a big plan to protect the treasure chamber. They had us hide inside a few secret hideouts located inside the treasure chamber.

These secret areas give us Guardians a good standpoint to watch over the chamber without being detected. The problem about these secret places is with their size: each area can accommodate only one Guardian, and there are a total of four. I was one of the four selected to stay inside the chamber for a few days, until the Elder Guardians found more answers on who could have done it and how we could prevent this from happening again.

  - “I kindly ask you four Guardians to protect this chamber with your best efforts, and please let us know if you happen to notice anything out of the ordinary. If anyone besides me enters this area, please alert everyone.” The Elder Guardian Zya said.

  - “Got it!” We said.

If any creature tries to steal the rest of the golden blocks, we’ll definitely get them!

  Day 11

  Dear Diary,

After one night inside the chamber, nothing happened during our watch. We’re relieved that the golden blocks are safe, but the Elder Guardians still have not found any clues on the suspects, which is also pretty bad.

But when we thought it was going to be another normal day, we had a pretty unusual situation: during the afternoon, we saw one of the Dark Prismarine blocks, which protect the golden ones, being removed right in front of us!

At first we saw the block disappearing, but upon closer inspection from our hideouts, we actually saw the blocks being mined out by… by the air?! There was no one there, and the blocks were being mined out!

That’s when we decided to act. The four Guardians including me hiding inside the secret chamber came out of the hideouts and we jumped right into the Prismarine blocks, where this invisible creature was acting. We got him and we called Zya, which was next door talking with the other Elder Guardians. They all came in a rush to see what we had.

  - “Here it is, sir! The one responsible for stealing the blocks!” One of the Guardians yelled, as the four of us struggled to hold the invisible creature in place. It was desperately trying to escape from us.

  - “Guardians, what are you four doing there? It’s not the time to play games!” Lem said.

  - “Sir, please! This creature is invisible!” I said,

  - “Oh? Guardians, get on it!” Zya said.

The other Guardians came to help, and they all were surprised when they touched this invisible creature and actually felt its presence.

  - “Yes it’s right here, sir!” One of them exclaimed.

  - “Excellent. Brilliant work, Guardians! Well done.” Lem said. “Now invisible being, speak up or we are not letting you go.”

  - “Let me go.” We heard a voice coming from the invisible spot.

  - “Oh? Let you go? No way! You’ve tried to steal our Golden blocks. We want the other five back, and we want to know who you are.” Zya said.

  - “Let… me… go… I’m running… out of air…” The creature said.

  - “What?” Lem yelled. “You’re a creature from… above?!”

  - “Above?” We all asked.

  - “Y-Yes…” The invisible creature answered. “You have to… let me go… or you’ll never… recover the Golden blocks…”

  - “Let him go, Guardians.” Zya said.

  - “Are you sure, sir?” We asked.

  - “Yes. We don’t have any reason to trust this creature, but at this point keeping it here would be useless.”

We released the creature and it passed by our group, still invisible.

  - “We’ll let you go, creature. But please be advised you will not be treated the same if you try to steal the Golden blocks again.”

  - “I won’t. Thank you.” And it went away.

What a crazy day. Now the Elder Guardians are discussing how we can deal with possible invisible threats… And why the creatures from above are coming after the Golden blocks.

  Day 12

  Dear Diary,

The Elder Guardians gathered us to tell more about their plans.

  - “First things first.” Zya said. “We need to tell you all about the creatures who used to attack this monument back in the days, way before you all were born. They were the creatures from above, also known as humans.”

  - “Creatures from above? Humans?” We were clueless to his words. No one knew what humans were.

  - “Yes. We suspect this invisible being was one of them. How they managed to get invisible is beyond my comprehension. Nevertheless, we need to be careful. Those humans are extremely greedy and I believe they will try again one day.” Zya said.

  - “And how can we fight back?” I asked.

  - “We can’t, really.” Lem said. “Humans are strong… But their weakness is their inability to breathe under water. They can hold their breath for a short period of time, and I heard of potions and such but it’s still not 100%.”

  - “In short, we need to make it hard for them to get in and out of the monument. The longer they spent under the water, the worse it gets for them.” Ohm said.

  - “We will switch a few pillars out of place and rebuild the central section.” Zya said.

The Elder Guardians sure know a lot about these humans. They had to face them in the past, maybe that’s where they got all the experience.
