  “If you hadn’t been there—”

  “Thank Shawn—”

  “I’m thanking you, Dad.” Sonya’s voice broke, tears in her eyes. “Let me thank you.”

  Aron smiled, feeling his own eyes grow moist. “You’re welcome, Sonya.”
