Sherman saw from the bridge of the Rebel Schooner what Lascek was doing.
“Ah,” he smiled. “Old sea-devil! He’s leading them back into the rocks! Into Canebo! Doesn’t anything scare that man?”
“Not more rocks,” groaned Paean.
“These are too much for us,” agreed Sherman. “I suggest we chart our own course, because we don’t know this ship well and we might sink her. We navigate around those rocks and meet up with the Solar Wind on the other side.”
“Wish the storm would quit,” she sighed.
“We’re nearly out of it,” placated Sherman. “But Radomir is deliberately leading them back into it! See that?”
“Why?”
“One Solar Wind against six Rebel ships? What else would you suggest?”
