almost not heard in the car, but if Hugh and Dora heard outside, they would have a bad impression on the fury of that storm.

Actually only one thing could deeply see this weather phenomenon. At space, thousands of miles of Hugh and Dora, a satellite exchanged frantically information with computers on the land in search of results for complex calculations. The results of these calculations had lit on a red light above the head of a meteorologist. This sign was becoming more common in the last fifty years; the global climate definitely began to get crazy. This meteorologist pushed his coffee mug and threw some notes on the ground, while checking a lot of color images on a screen, he touched his finger on this screen and other images appeared. Then he pushed three buttons in different places, they were well spaced because they should not be pressed by mistake, an avalanche of fast acts would be started.

Hugh was informed through a message on a windshield that another car was behind his car, the distance of that other vehicle came to be shown constantly on the windshield, and it was decreasing.

Hugh sees Dora in a glance, she's looking at he and she's smiling. Hugh don't divert his attention, he is very tense. Dora runs a hand through his hair in a gesture of motherly affection.

What follow is all at the same time.

A new message was written on the windshield, asking to stop the vehicle immediately. That was one effect of those three buttons that were pressed by one meteorologist. But it's not possible to satisfy the request to stop. While Hugh reads the message he sees flying things, but they are small branches and even whole trees. It is unbelievable that things so heavy could fly. Hugh is turning his head to the left, while the expression on his face is filling with fear and his body begins to shiver, a left image comes into focus as he turns his head completely. An image of a tree was growing in his direction. The cry of Hugh gets lost into the sound of the tree crashing into the car. Hugh is dizzy and sees surreal images, everything turns frantically. Leaves and small twigs and glass flew into a maelstrom of wind and rain, it all came through and collide with Hugh. The tree looked like an arrow buried in the car. An alarm went off. The windshield is now showing an intermittent flashing. That other driver just come behind Hugo’s car, slammed on his brakes, his face contorted as scared and horrified by what his eyes saw.

Too many sheets come out of that little tree that was dragged across the asphalt, while pushing the car to the right and off the road, forming a green cloud. The century-old technology that was incorporated into the car triggered sequences of actions and reactions in a computerized and mechanical way, trying to preserve the integrity of the occupants in the car. Although Hugh's car was not the best, it still had many features, such as computer aids in driving, making decisions based on all information coming from sensors throughout the car, it may intervene in the case of an accident. This computer attempted to stop the car and drive it away from obstacles. But it was difficult for the computer to understand what was happening because of the tree that had become entangled on the left side of the car, the computer still maneuvered unparalleled even by the most skilled driver. When the car left the road on the right and entered the woods, it stopped just inches from a large tree.

At that time the car would emit a warning giving the notice of disaster. Computers would calculate what were the closest medical units and fire brigades and would guide them to the disaster site.

The event of the disaster with Hugh for these machines were just bits, ones and zeros checks. Although these machines know that the car belonged to Hugh, and had numerous and detailed information about the car, like when was the last time the oil was changed. So they had all the information about the rescue vehicle of their choice, an ambulance from Charity Hospital St. Francis of Assisi in Warm River, and they noticed a file about Hugh be the son of Ubi who also worked in Charity Hospital St. Francis of Assisi in Warm River. Still, that information was discarded. For Machines It was just a matter to decide between vehicles, not about take knowledge among children and parents, and how important it was to warn a father about the tragedy with his son. There is a bunch of information in electronic memory, the big problem is how to use this information.

“... I have so much memory. I lived for so long, seen so much, loved so much. All this time I saw a tiny picture before my eyes. I have so much, and as I live I know I will not be able to understand and examine every detail of everything on those pictures that I saw. And I'm still seeing just now. I take photos, creating pictures all the time. No time to see them, to understand them, not enough time...”

While this information flows through the skies, Ubi is in the hospital talking to a patient.

The fire brigade and ambulance arrived at the crash site when the storm seemed to diminish, and the wind was not as strong, just rained. Firefighters quickly penetrate the forest and go to the car, while that driver, who was traveling behind Hugh, excitedly relates what he saw:

  - It was terrible! The tree was flying like a bird and crashed into the car. It was... I've never seen a wind like this. Thank God I managed to stop. What a thing! I've never seen anything like this.

Once firefighters located the car they begin the rescue. The doctors have priority to assess the situation.

The young doctor, Victor, goes down the path opened by firefighters. He enters the forest to get to the car. When he sees the tree that came through the car window, he has a bad feeling about that. He walks ahead of the car and looks inside the car, he stops suddenly and his face is in horror, his eyes close for a second. Victor recognizes Dora. He approaches her, and makes a signal to a firefighter open the car door on that side. Two EMT's arrive with bags and stretchers. Victor notes that Dora injuries are terrible, as expected, and her vital signs are not shown, for the worst.

Victor carefully removes leaves that are everywhere inside the car, trying to see the face of other occupant. After some effort, he can see Hugh's face; again Victor had to close his own eyes for a moment. Hugh also does not have vital signs. With violence the branches went through the window, stabbed and crushed the two bodies, as dozens of spears. The body of Hugh is more injured than Dora. The team begins the removal of bodies. As the branches are sawn and removed from the car, Victor becomes more desperate as the chances of the two patients. Everything in that car is a mixture of white sawdust, the intense green of so many leaves, and the dark red blood, this last, particularly, shows itself more and more.

Victor knows that now everything is a race against time, after all, even without apparent vital signs, there could be chances of resuscitation. Therefore branches stuck in the legs, for example, were not taken with care, but with strength and speed. Legs, arms, were not vital. Had it been necessary Victor would ordered to saw an arm to speed the removal of the body to the stretcher.

After the two bodies were placed on stretchers and loaded into the ambulance, Victor gives a deep breath, he looks up to the rain that falls between those trees.

  - God! - Says Victor, he worries with his friend Ubi.

Finally he enters to the ambulance, which runs down the road with its tragic siren. Victor makes a series of requests to the hospital while powerful drugs are injected in those two bodies at that moment.

Just the firefighters stay there working at the car of Hugh. The hard rain start again, now washes the blood pouring down from the car and drips from the tips of certain branches, leaving a taste of human anguish over that forest landscape.

At about half past eleven, someone knocks on the door of the Ubi's office in the hospital. Ubi is methodical and does not like being interrupted when he examines a patient. By intuitive reasoning he knew there couldn't be a medical emergency, so he had been called over the intercom in the wall of his office, or by cell phone that he always carried in his shirt pocket. So he does not answer the door and continues with the exam on his patient. But someone knocks insistently at the door. Ubi for a moment stays away from the patient and waits, until the door seems to be punche
d.

  - What a hell! - Said Ubi very upset, and cries. - I'm coming!

When Ubi was already to open the door, it opens almost hitting his hand. Thus Ubi is face to face with Victor, who has held the hard expression and squeezed her lips, while the eyes are clearly sad. Ubi immediately feel the vibration in the air, a bitterness that seems to precede disastrous news. Exactly the vibration experienced many times when he had to say the news of the death of a patient to family members. Ubi begins to tremble at the sight of blood stains on the white coat of his friend.

  - Dora... Hugh...

Ubi says in a voice faintly, while the color of his face turns white. These two words have saved a lot to Victor, who only had to confirm with a nod. Ubi was still shaking, gasps. But with a strong inspiration of air through the nose, he seems to recover fully. His face petrifies, he have his eyes narrow, the lips pressed and he scowls, was the expression of human strength rebelling against the tragedy that puts the soul at danger. Inside him, the heart of a doctor won the heart of a man. Ubi pushes the Victor's hands and quickly leaves the room, he goes to the hall. He already knew where to go, ICU.

How many times over these thirty years Ubi had
