About the Author
Jess O’Connell was born in Dublin and spent most of her childhood years in the beautiful
countryside of Wicklow in Ireland. She came from a creative background. Her grandfather was an
artist and furniture designer; her father too, had a passion for art and instilled in her a deep love of
the creative arts. She has been in the dance and theatre world for most of her life, appearing in
various productions. She is also amateur photographer.
Jess began writing poems in school and was bitten by the writing bug at an early age. One of her
dreams was to have a book published sometime and up till recently never thought she would realise
her dream. She gathered together a small group of her poetic musings in this book for your
enjoyment!
