Take shape and dance freely.
The circle of life
Are found within their heart.
They embrace and protect
From morning till dark.
So many I see
A vision so clear.
The home of the People
Held in my heart, so very near.

This poetry book is very close to my heart. I have put a great deal of thought and heart into this book. I would like to dedicate this book to my daughter Shoshoni Raven and to all Native American tribes. Both were the true inspiration for me in writing all of my poetry. This book contains fourteen years worth of heart and soul. I am 1/8th Abenaki and Algonquain. I got it from both my father’s and mother’s side. I’m a 5th generation Vermonter. Both sides of my family were living in Vermont before Vermont became a state. I’m also a third generation farmer and currently work on a farm in Barnet, Vermont where I train horses and work with several other types of animals. I’m a single mother with two cats named Danny and Stash and own a horse named Lacey who was rescued. Lacey is a Standardbred/Appaloosa cross from a PMU farm in North Dakota. She is six years old. My daughter is thirteen and a huge inspiration in my life. Without her I may have never done the things that I have accomplished thus far in my life. I hope you have enjoyed my poetry and I appreciate you stopping by. Thank You!
