Classified SOLAR SECRET
Mission Statement for spacecraft Saturn 1
1.Saturn 1 with an operational and scientific crew will proceed to the Saturn system and investigate the disturbance caused by a meteoroid observed entering the Saturn system.
2.Travel time from Earth to Saturn is approximately 3 years.
3.Saturn 1 will remain within the Saturn system for approximately 2 years.
4.Primary Mission:
(a)The scientific crew will use their specialties to investigate and catalog all possible information.
(b)Analysis of hazards caused by disruptions of the Saturn moons orbits and rings will be computed.
(c)All data will be transmitted to Earth weekly.
5.At the end of the two year investigation the crew of Saturn 1 will complete the following:
(a)Saturn 1 will set up monitoring equipment in the vicinity of the Saturn system.
(b)Saturn 1 will proceed to the orbit of Mars and set up more monitoring equipment at Sun Mars L3.
6.Saturn 1 will return to Earth for refitting, crew change, and resupply.
7.Length of original mission is estimated to be 9 years.
8.All following paragraphs are classified Solar Secret on Earth. Complete declassification and decimation to the Saturn 1 crew and their descendants is authorized if the event in paragraph 9 (a) occurs.
9.Due to a transmission received by NASA in 1978 the following changes may be required. This will supersede the above paragraphs 3, 4, 4 (b), 4 (c), 5, 5 (a), 5 (b), 6, & 7.
(a)Transmission indicated that the Saturn 1 passed through an anomaly in space and traveled back approximately 1800 years in Earth time.
(b)If this turns out to be factual the following mission changes will be accomplished.
(c)Above para 4. (a) will remain in effect.
(d)The Captain will brief all personnel on the modified mission statement.
10.The operational crew of Saturn 1 will locate and proceed to a stable orbit location and start construction of a space habitat.
(a)Saturn 1 operational crew will remove bulkheads M16 & J23. Storage rooms behind the bulkheads will be inventoried.
(b)Upon completion of habitat the Captain will instruct the surgeon to remove birth control implants from all personnel and instruct personnel to pair up and reproduce.
(c)Scientific crew will evaluate all data and devise the following plans.
(1)Long term survival in the Saturn planetary system.
(2)Enlargement of habitat.
(d)Set up a civilian government in the habitat with a military support.
(1)General schooling for all children born.
(2)Basic military training for all children.
(3)Technical schooling for all children.
(4)Advanced military and technical training for selected children.
(e)Construction and set up of scientific labs.
(1)Investigation into all technologies applicable to survival in Saturn system.
(2)Investigation into all technologies applicable to advanced spacecraft propulsion systems.
(3)Investigation into all technologies toward advanced space weapons.
(f)Defense plans for Sol system and Earth.
(1)Construction tools needed to implement sub-paragraphs under 10 (e).
(2)Construction of equipment to implement sub-paragraphs 10 (e).
(3)Construction of a fleet of advanced armed spacecraft.
(4)Construction of a fleet of advanced cargo and transport spacecraft.
(5)Construction of Sol system defense grid.
11.Monitor Earth time-line and communications.
(a)This descendants of Saturn 1 crew are forbidden to interfere with events happening on Earth before 3 years after launch date.
(b)This is to be understood by all and enforced by the military section of the civilian government.
(c)No direct contact with Earth should be attempted or made prior to time outlined in paragraph 11 (a).
(d)Any interference in the time-line may cause the Saturn 1 mission to never happen.
(e)A complete search of the Earths genetic database found no descendants of any combination of pairs of the crews. This indicates that either no descendant of the original crew returned to Earth or they died out.
(f)If any member or members of the crew or their descendants return to Earth a population paradox will happen. This will not be allowed to happen!
12.Contact with Earth may be reestablished during year three of the original mission (see paragraph 2).
(a)This establishment of communications is not mandatory. It will be a judgment call by the leaders of the descendants.
(b)If communications with Earth is reestablished the first data should be the in compliance with above paragraph 4 and its sub-paragraphs, Primary Mission.
(c)The code words “The Time Was Past” will be included in communications with Earth if paragraph 12 (b) is implemented. Key personnel at NASA will be instructed to brief personnel in leadership positions.
(1)Contact information will then be transmitted to the leaders of the Saturn 1 descendants.
(2)If no confirmation is received close contact will be avoided unless situations arise that could jeopardize life on Earth from outside the Sol system (example: Alien invasion or planet killer asteroid).
(3)Internal events on Earth will not be interfered with!
(4)This will be a judgment call by the Saturn 1 descendants leadership whether to handle the problem on their own or in conjunction with Earth leadership in compliance with paragraph 12 (c) (2).
13.A resupply ship will be launched on identical trajectory and we hope it can duplicate the time travel to arrive soon after you do.
(a)The resupply ship is not mentioned in your original data transmission.
(b)It will contain a minimum crew plus equipment to complete your primary mission should it fail to travel back in time.
