The cigar slipped from Ken’s mouth as the tears rolled. His shoulders shuddered up and down as the grief swelled through him. That connection, borne since birth, was broken - gone. His brother was gone and Ken was left behind. Leonard would live on, in some way, through Glen. But Ken had no-one now that Lenny had died.
The only thing that buoyed him was the chance to see how Glen would turn out. But he doubted he would live that long.

Jamie J. Buchanan is based in Perth, Western Australia. He spent many years playing in rock bands, mostly loud, fast, heavy metal and hard rock bands - the sort your parents warned you about. But his first love has always been writing.
