Rick heard everything that was said in the hallway. No! Lord no! he thought as the laughter started to come back. That Fed can’t come back in here. Rick started to breath erratically and felt closed in.

  Air. He need some air. He felt light headed and confused as he wiped the sweat from his brow. Stumbling over to the window, he opened it and stuck his head out. The fresh air helped only slightly as the laughter continued. “Stop it! Please!” He said to himself. “Why don’t you leave me alone?”

  Rick started to panic and the laughter got louder. “Got to make it stop. Got to get into the air and make it stop.” His eyes widened as the idea popped into his head. He looked at the door then out the window.

  Got to run! Got to get away! Yes! Do it! Something inside told him. Rick pulled himself up into the window, then slipped through it. When he hit the ground he looked around, but nobody was there. He turned and ran towards the flight line.
