to the ground. The gun was kicked away and an officer reached for handcuffs.
“It’s all over!” The Sheriff said.
Emily moaned as she felt a cramp shoot up her abdomen. “Help.” She cried. “I think I’m having the baby.”
The Sheriff rushed to her and Emily fell to the floor.
A few months later…
“So you’ve thought of a name for the baby?” Jim asked.
Emily caressed her baby and smiled at her as she rocked in her chair. “She’s beautiful, isn’t she?”
“Just like her Mama.” Jim smiled.
Emily smiled back and kissed the baby’s forehead. “Ashley. She shall be called Ashley. My brave beautiful little girl.”

Thank you for taking the time to read my book. I hope you enjoyed it and I look forward to reading your reviews.
A little bit about me
I love writing. There isn't a back story of why I do so or what inspired me- I just fell in love with it!
I love to write in a 'twist in the tale' way. Whatever happens to my characters has to be something that even I cannot guess. Basically, it's the unpredictable that draws me into writing a story. If it’s obvious and so is the climax, then I lose interest in it and that's something I would never present to my readers.
My characters are ordinary but something extraordinary happens to them. That's the way I always write!
