REBECCA
(Pointing to her couch) I love it Morgan. Where did you
get it? I love it. I really need a new one. The one I have is falling apart.
MORGAN
Um... (trying to think of what to say)
REBECCA
Morgan... (stern voice)
MORGAN
Okay fine...Homelot. (disappointed in herself) Im sorry
I just couldn't resist myself. It was so cheap. They
were having a blowout sale. 50% off all items with red tags. It was actually the last one.
REBECCA
(Caught her) I knew it! .
(Brief pause)
Whatever its not like he sold it to you himself.
MORGAN
(Changing the subject) Do you want some coffee I just
made a fresh pot. Cream, milk, sugar-
REBECCA
(Upset) Oh my gosh Morgan! He did sell it to you!
MORGAN
Rebecca I'm really-

MORGAN
I understand, (being reasonable) but it has been 4
years Rebecca you have to let go of thinking of him eventually.
REBECCA
It's just hard because after everything I've been
through in life it was extremely hard for me to trust
anyone and especially a man. (She's a few tears)
MORGAN
I know Rebecca, don't worry I promise you, you will find someone way better than Peter. Okay? Trust me.
(Hugs Rebecca)
REBECCA
(Wipes her tears) Yeah your right.(Sucks it up) I have to stay strong for myself and for Jen.
MORGAN

REBECCA
Thank you Morgan. (Picks up coffee and sips) Oh that's
hot (chuckles). So how's your mother?
MORGAN
She's good, she's all settled in Florida with Bill.
REBECCA
I'm happy for her. I really am but why are you still
here?
MORGAN
Well my life is here, you know what I mean? I mean sure
school is difficult and I could just leave and go to Florida with her. But why would I? I'm fine here and I'm glad that I actually got through high school and
still maintained good grades after everything that I've
endured. This is my last year of college, so who knows

and the landlord is actually thinking of throwing me
out. I don't know what to do. I've had no time to find a job since I've been caught up with school work.
REBECCA
Worst comes to worst you can always stay with me.
MORGAN
Thanks Rebecca. I don't know, but I know I will find a way. (Changing the subject) Anyways hows the business?
REBECCA
Its actually going very well. I actually may need a
secretary within a year because she is planning on going on maternity leave in a few months.
MORGAN
I would love to Rebecca. It's a great start to begin in
the field of psychology. Thanks for inspiring me to
help others who are suffering with their personal issues. You really are a hero.

ACT 1
Scene 5
Inside Jessica's house in Florida. She is watching
the Brooklyn's news channel, a news reporter is speaking about missing persons.
NEWS REPORTER
It has now been two days since four year old Giselle
Ports has been missing and one day since twenty-one
year old Morgan Bells has been missing. These two girls do not seem to be related but both have some connection
to Rebecca Reese. Five years ago an incident occurred
where apparently the father of Morgan Bells was abusing both Morgan and her mother Jessica Bells. Rebecca Reese
rescued her life and the father Michael Bells is now
serving 40 years in prison. Giselle Ports seems to be
Rebecca's four year old niece. It also seems like a
coincidence that just two days ago Rebecca Reese's
biological father Nicholas Reese was just bailed out of
jail after suppose to be serving a life time in prison
for murdering his wife. If you happen two see any of
these two girls please call 1800-missing. Thank you
this is Tory Southers and this is channel 39 Wolf news
with your 3 o'clock news report. Back to you Mitch
Jessica shuts the television.
JESSICA
