his utmost relief he found himself in the Waiting Room as the two of them entered the room.

  “Well, what do you want?” His ex-boss said gruffly.

  “You’ve got to help me.” Said Josh.

  “I’m listening.”

  Josh then told him everything – the Middle East, Prison, China, the Zoo, and how he must have cursed him when he left last week.

  His former boss listened without interruption, and as Josh finished he stood motionless for a moment in thought, then looked up and said

  “Do you expect me to believe this?”

  “Ummm. Yes. You’ve got to.” Josh stared at him.

  “That’s the biggest load of rubbish I’ve ever heard. Why don’t you tell me the truth? If you’re not happy in your new position just say.”

  “But it is the truth!!” Exclaimed Josh, losing his composure as the trauma of the last few days boiled over like an erupting volcano.

  His ex-boss began to make his way towards the door and said “I’ve run out of time. You’ve made me late for an important court case. I don’t like people who lie and can’t admit when they’ve made a mistake.”

  “But Sir!!”

  “Go to Hell!!” His ex-boss said as he left the room, slamming the door behind him.
