Read Waking Up Married in Vegas (What will her Fiance Say?) (Drive Thru Marriage 1) Page 3

“Could we do that again?” She asked in a small voice. She did not care if it was slutty,

He grinned and they proceeded to Do The Deed again. This time, like the last, was the BEST EVER.

“YOU are fantastic.” He told her. “Every time is better than the last.”

“It is for me, too.” She told him. “I still don’t remember, however I think we should keep trying.” She said. “If we do this often enough, something’s bound to happen.”

“I’m game.” He said, stroking her cheek.

“Oh, my!” She said as she felt him rising for the third occasion. “Three times in a few hours. I didn’t think that was possible for a man.”

“You inspire me to great deeds.” He said huskily. “I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of making you happy.”

“I am happy.” Donna told him. “As happy as I’ve ever been.” She realized that it was true.

“I love you so very much.” He told her. She closed her eyes and stroked his hair as he kissed her in her most sensitive places.

When she could stand it no longer, Donna pulled him up to kiss him while he positioned things to begin.

“I am happy. You fulFILL me!” She gasped into his lips as he merged with her.

Daniel chuckled and kissed her, a tender, loving kiss. They Did The Deed for the third time that evening.

“Oh, my God! I love you.” She screamed, hugging him tightly to her as she achieved high orbit, gasping for air.

“I love you, too.” He told her, stroking her hair as she shuddered and gasped.

“I really do love you, Daniel,” she realized after she came back down to earth and could breathe and think again.

If they had been in an old 50’s movie, she imagined they would have been lying in bed cuddling, smoking a cigarette and looking very satisfied.

As it was, other parts were smoking as they lay in bed cuddling, and looking very satisfied.

“How did the memory exercise go?” Terri Beth asked when Donna and Daniel came down for a nightcap. Mom sat at the table drinking a strawberry daiquiri.

“We tried everything but nothing helped her memory.” Daniel Said.

  “Everything?” Terri Beth asked grinning.

  “Everything.” Donna said blushing.

“Good!” Terri Beth giggled. She recognized the flush on Donna’s chest and neck from Doing The Deed.

“I don’t think she will forget me this time.” Daniel said.

Donna blushed again and could think of nothing else to say.

Daniel grinned and hugged her, letting her hide her face against his chest.

Angie arrived with Albert in tow.

“How did your negotiations go?” Terri Beth asked Angie.

“Excellent!” Angie said. “Albert and I discovered we are very compatible.” She was flushed and smiling. Albert was blushing.

“How about you,” Angie asked Donna.

“We’ve decided to stay marri- … er … engaged.” Donna said.

“Ohhh! That is wonderful!” Terri Beth was jumping up and down holding Donna. “I’m so happy for you both!”

“Albert and I are engaged, also.” Angie confided. “I took your advice and shoved him down and kissed him. Then I kept kissing him until he surrendered.”

“Wow.” Donna said. Terri Beth and Angie were jumping up and down screaming.

“When are you going to tie the knot?” Mom asked.

“We’re going to get married here in Vegas.” Angie said. Albert nodded.

  “No!” Donna chuckled.

“Yes. I don’t want to give him time to get cold feet.” Angie gave Albert’s hand a squeeze.

“I won’t get cold feet.” Albert assured her. “I don’t want to find out you’ve gotten married without me.”

“That would never happen.” Angie assured him.

“We can make it a double wedding!” Daniel said. “Donna and I are going to get married aga- … er … also.”

"Maybe we can find someone for Terri Beth," Angie giggled. "Then we could make it a triple wedding!"

"Not me," Terri Beth said, shaking her head. "I plan to take my time and enjoy a long courtship before I walk down the aisle. No meet them and marry them the same day for me."

“Mom, how would you like to be at our wedding and meet Elvis?” Donna said.”He’s going to marry us.”

“Donna you must be feverish. Elvis is dead.” Mom was incredulous.

“Yes, but his spirit lives on at the drive through.” Donna giggled.

  Author’s Notes

I hope you enjoyed this story and got a few laughs.

I read an article a few years ago about drive through marriage booths in Vegas and the concept kept percolating in the back of my mind. In another story, soon to be published, I mentioned that the main characters watched a play with a similar premise. The next thing I knew, the story was practically writing itself. I started out with Donna's amnesia resulting from a blow to the head, but I read another article about amnesia from alcohol consumption. That seemed more realistic and less clichéd than a blow to the head.

Here is the part where I stand before you in patched and faded hand-me-down clothes and pitifully extend my beat-up beggar’s bowl.

“Good Reviews for the starving writer,” I beg, trying to look as pitiful and needy as possible. "If you liked this story, would you please toss a Good Review into my beggar’s bowl?"

Good reviews are vitally important to new authors, driving them up the charts and increasing downloads.

Perversely, while only one in a hundred readers post reviews, those same readers use the reviews to decide if an author’s work is worth reading.

A Five Star rating is the highest praise you can give, the Holy Grail of reviews. It is my fervent desire to provide you, the reader with Five Star entertainment.

If you loved this tale, then please give it a Five. Obviously, I think it is a Five. I would not publish something I thought was a One.

If you think it is a One, however, it is ok if you do not feel a burning need to post a comment. LOL.
