A Hundred Thoughts
Vol. 2

1
This is the day
Fallen angels cannot fly.
Mercy and misery drown together.
Bloodied is the pigeon’s feather.
Tethers of memories fill the air,
For in this world, living is very rare.
2
Your body and soul
Is all ashes, dust and coal.
The sounds and melodies
Of these broken hearts and beauties.
Embers of a yellow haze,
The mist in you clear blue gaze,
All resonates in the valley
That you made so happily.
3
Here he comes wrapped in black,
The man who threw his heart on a lost train track.
Right and left, he marches on silently,
Holding on to his soul firmly.
With neither past nor present,
He is surely on heaven bent.
But along the way came Death
And relieved him of his painful breath.
4
We scream and we smile,
Collecting roses of love in a pile.
We break and we mend,
Forgetting wounds given by our dearest friends.
We hurt and we heal,
So that we never forget to feel.
We live and we die,
Without even being able to say goodbye.
5
Heart and head you can’t comprehend.
Your life is a broken mirror I can’t mend.
Looking for answers down and below,
You don’t know which way to follow.
On the long road to joy you’re blindfolded,
With your soul in coldness molded.
6
It is an exterior I made
From which no one can see how I fade.
A cold gaze is all they see,
Thinking I’m aimless but I’m just free.
My dreams drift in their grasp, suffocating.
But they crush it while I’m still breathing.
They will never care enough to know
If my candle of Life will flicker or glow.
7
They say time waits for no one.
We look at the sky without noticing the sun.
One for one and one for all.
Life melts away into tiny snowballs.
Catch the dream lost today
Before it flickers and fades away.
All these faces will crumble down
But ghosts of their memories will roam this town.
8
I wait for these dark days to end,
To see the face of my long gone friend.
I wait for the noise to drown down,
To hear the laughter that once roamed this town.
I wait for the blinding fog to clear,
To touch the stars shinning so near.
I wait for the sky to open up a gate,
To see the great throne of Fate.
I wait for the sea to swallow the hate,
To enjoy life before it’s too late.
9
No one is really true at heart.
Before death does everyone part.
Betrayals and lies spill from every mouth.
Problems arise that no one can figure out.
Blood runs in every corner and street.
People kill one another like they’re raw meat.
Every plan comes to an end.
There’s no one in the world now to call a friend.
10
Rivers run by a stone marked with a name
Of a man who treated everyone the same.
The winds often echo his life’s story
Which everyone thinks of as a mystery.
The birds sing songs of his dreams.
His hope still shines brighter than these light beams.
Upon asking if he was a legend or a lore,
The stars replied he loved not man the less but nature more.
11
Sirens echo in a street coloured red.
People die everyday as their hunger hasn’t been fed.
Cries of the helpless break the walls of mercy.
Water isn’t enough to give to the thirsty.
Broken promises litter this world all over
All the while the deranged rule with their power.
12
Black hearts and blind eyes,
Piercing screams and deafening cries,
Lost images and broken sounds,
Empty skies and littered grounds,
Fading promises and lifeless hope,
Greedy politicians and wicked people,
Confused minds and lonely thoughts,
Lazy doctors and demented Goths;
These are the puppets playing the show
That’ll fool you with what you don’t know.
13
Winter comes to take you away,
But you begin to forget what to say.
The winds howl your name,
But for you everything sounds the same.
Daylight shows you images of my past,
But you try making everyday your last.
If only you listen to the beat of your heart,
You’ll know me from every piece and part.
14
Flip the coin and say the word.
Listen to a song you’ve never heard.
Turn your head and gaze up at the starlight.
Try to win back what you lost in a fight.
Echo the melodies the wind plays.
Ignore the world and listen what you heart says.
Before the light from your life fades away,
Look for the face you’ll love everyday.
15
We are never too cruel nor too kind,
But only very deaf and incredibly blind.
What we lose we try to rebuild,
Without knowing how the cost can be filled.
When we fall into a dark and deathly abyss,
We call out for those who we always miss.
Forgotten promises line our way.
But Death will come tomorrow, if not today.
16
In the valley of broken dreams and hopes,
Bits of Reality cannot hold onto their rope.
Thunderstorms mark these salty skies.
Amidst the lightning, angel of Death flies.
Now and then, this ground suddenly shakes.
In the dark night, every evil awakes.
Soon the valley will have no boundaries.
And this thunder will spread in all the countries.
17
These walls will crush everything in between.
There are things in heaven no one has seen.
Flags of defeat dance in the breeze.
Secrets are hidden on pebbles and trees.
Silent notes of misery are being played.
All these candles will soon flicker and fade.
Broken sentences make the king’s speech.
In this era, nothing seems out of reach.
18
Keep me in the dark and expect me to stay.
Move me aside like a pebble in your way.
Promise me the future to forget my past.
Give me a smile and make it the last.
So before you convince me to try,
Take back your heart for it’s too dry.
19
Halfway through the dream you brought,
A snowflake fell and was the last I caught.
The rays of
Reality struck in my eyes.
I can hear the morning angel as it cries.
Slowly the lights of your city become alive.
Then I saw what it means to thrive.
Blacks and blues fill the air.
We took the train leading to nowhere.
Restless noises echo around these walls.
But no one hears our calls.
20
When you wake up from my dreams,
Can you hear it as my mind screams?
A beloved son and a castaway daughter,
Do they share your laughter?
Though blood is thicker than water,
Will you be able to become quieter?
For all these bonds will break soon,
And you’ll be left staring at the moon.
21
Music, books, the colors in my life.
I want to live free and not just thrive.
Solitude and quiet is what I prefer.
But others often think from them I differ.
I follow my dreams and make many plans.
I write a lot and have a few fans.
I am an introvert and don’t like a crowd.
I don’t have great expectations to make anyone proud.
Art means an awful lot to me.
I try to visualize all that I can’t be.
Sometimes I get so lost in a world of my own.
I have a kingdom in my mind, with a thrown.
I always forgive but never forget.
I recall faces of all the people I’ve ever met.
I want to become a neurosurgeon since the age of ten.
I hate being questioned why and when.
Others say I am cruel and unkind.
But to me they mean nothing but whispers of the blind.
22
Everybody needs a song to sing
And to dance in a big love-ring.
The box of memories may be left open.
Humans can thrive in every evil and sin.
Smiles easily break with a tear.
Without trying, we live in fear.
Hurting and healing, we come together.
Hearts beat with feelings light as a feather.
The past may visit us to destroy our present.
Then we will forget what the future could have meant.
23
I made a big mistake and now I pay,
Living among strangers every second of my day.
The ones I let go are the ones l love.
Now I pray for them to the one sitting above.
Every moment feels like a suffocating vacuum.
Each time I break with a loud crash and a boom.
Pleasant memories of my past keep me going.
Sometimes I lose track of what I am doing.
Curtains of anxiety hang in my mind.
I look for peace but there’s nothing I find.
Music and books are my only escape.
No sun shines when I pull down the drapes.
Yet I know when my armor breaks,
No one will pick up my pieces that fall like flakes.
24
All these people say I am wrong
And that I’ll break for I’m not strong.
They say that I speak less,
But when I do, they make me a mess.
No one really cares about the life I live.
Coldness and hatred is all they give.
They ruin my day from morning till night.
All they do is scream and fight.
They’ll never remember the good I do for them,
But only my mistakes, tiny as a stem.
They ignore the meaning that I hold.
Their presence makes me anxious tenfold.
All my past is a mystery they can’t figure out.
Their belief in me is filled with questions and doubts.
The temple of Mercy is a place they’ve not visited,
But that is with what I’ve been gifted.
25
If I had no faith in my religion,
I would readily give up with a bottle of poison.
If I had no concept of purity and sin,
I would never care enough to lose or win.
If I had no dreams to light my nights,
I would waste away in quarrels and fights.
If I didn’t have compassion and mercy,
I would keep my love hungry and thirsty.
If I had no hope for better days,
I would gladly take up all the wrong ways.
If I had no source of joy,
I would fall like the empire of Troy.
If I had no care of what’s being said,
I would love to lie down with the dead.
But since I don’t have the head or heart of a warrior,
I’ve got to live inside this stone cold barrier.
25
Bursting like a cannon ball,
You will break down when you fall.
Drown these voices in your head,
And you’ll know if your love is dead.
You can catch the beads of Time coming loose,
But you’re lost if you waste away on cigarettes and booze.
27
Life is a playground with many swings,
Filled with roses, ice-cream and many other things.
Heaven and Hell are the guardians looming over it.
Sun and moon are the candles with which it’s lit.
Humans are the ashes and dust of this playground.
Treasure lie beneath it, waiting to be found.
All the seasons dance in its corner
And ask for the wind if it’d come any sooner.
28
Black and blue these streets we roam.
I’m looking for a place to call home.
Demons and monsters rule the world today.
There’s a fog in th air covering every way.
A worried noise fills the chambers.
Empty images dance in the mind’s frontiers.
Amidst this chaos I search for a familiar face,
But I break down before we win the race.
29
I look for words to explain my thoughts,
For they are messed up and in a web caught.
The chamber of dreams is quiet and empty.
Imagination feels more real than Reality.
A broken hope falls on my conscience,
Showing me nothing but doubts and defiance.
Home is a stranger I’ve yet to meet.
At an early age I learned to stand on my own two feet.
Come if you must at my door,
But you’ll find I can’t love anymore.
30
Time and again I break just to heal.
No one understands the things I feel.
Everything is mixed up in a blender.
The screams of poverty grow louder.
Annoyance runs like a second skin on me.
People only see what they want to see.
Crazy and demented minds surround me everyday,
Twisting and bending all the words I say.
My ears ache to hear words of kindness.
Only the color of love in blindness.
Tomorrow might be a new story told.
But today this burden is more than I can hold.
31
Before this dreary night gets any darker,
Kill your joy and wrap up your laughter.
No one can solve your problems but you.
Everywhere life seems black and blue.
It’s just another day of anxiety and boredom.
Trapped in this house, I long for freedom.
My legs force me to run away, fast.
I can’t say how much longer I can last.
Everybody cares for themselves only.
They never amend the mistakes for which they’re guilty.
I wish I could live to simply exist.
But then I see a cl
earing in life’s mist.
32
Is there a place I could be?
For in this place, I don’t feel free.
Is there a way I could block out these voices?
For I can’t think straight amid their noises.
Is there a face I could look at without hate?
For everyone I look seems played by Fate.
Is there anything I can call my own?
For I’ve lost everything except my flesh and bone.
Is there a reason I could use to live?
For these people only have hatred to give.
Is there a chance I might be understood?
For I’m the stranger hiding its face beneath a hood.
Is there any logic to explain my existence?
For I feel empty with no conscience.
Is there a hope I could plunge into?
For everything looks so black and blue.
Is there a good memory I could re-live in?
For the present is nothing but greed and sin.
Is there a word I could speak for my defense?
For everybody blames me to be a nuisance.
Is there an air I could breathe in without suffocation?
For this air around me is filled with tension.
Is there a sign to guide me through this maze?
For I am lost and blinded by your love haze.
Is there a heartbeat I can count as mine?
For I am the star that can’t shine.
33
Have you heard of the girl without a shadow?
She walks alone at night by that meadow.
Have you seen the girl without a shadow?
She plays the violin and the cello.
Have you met the girl without a shadow?
She comes and goes in her misty halo.
Have you talked to the girl without a shadow?
She doesn’t have a friend or a foe.
Have you thought of the girl without a shadow?
She eats away her pain but it’s more than she can swallow.
Have you felt the girl without a shadow?
She blows free like the wind in the willow.
34
Dream on till your days last.
Learn from your mistakes you made in the past.
Swallow this hate you feel so strongly.
Use your imagination running so vividly.
Look for the coming of better days.
Guide the strangers on these lonely ways.
Speak the words that beat in your heart.
Silence the anguish and fury before they start.
Conquer your dreams and be their king.
Let out your love and make it sing.
Listen to the hope that lights your mind.
Search for meanings others can’t find.
Fly to the heights of these salty skies,
Before they fade away, your smiles and goodbyes.
35
Blood and bone, we’re the same,
Losing and winning in an endless game.
The heavens made our stories,
Containing all kinds of adventures and mysteries.
Fire and wind nurture our feelings,
Healing our wounds and giving us meaning.
The trees hold our secrets on their leaves,
Comforting anyone of us who grieves.
All these stars are there to light up our night,
Making us look at their glittering sight.
Every particle of matter is in our hold,
Serving our purpose as it can bend and fold.
Treasures rise for us from beneath the ground,
Replacing all we lost but never found.
Chances come to lead our decisions,
Helping us see the impossible through the memory and visions.
The magic of Fate keeps us in motion,
Keeping us adrift on the river of emotion.
Reason and faith lies in our hands,
Flowing in the direction of our orders and commands.
All this is create for man and man alone,
Who is so mortal with his flesh and bone.
36
We have bad moments and good moments,
For life gives us curses as well as presents.
The world had its beauty and its ugliness,
For where there is order, there is a mess.
Our smiles and tears live side by side.
The nature of our heart is both humble and pride.
Dark corners in the mind always light up.
We learn to share even from an empty cup.
We live young and die old,
Eventually becoming either weak or bold.
No amount of money can buy our soul.
Our imaginations are wider than the Black Hole.
Saying the impossible doesn’t make it possible.
Reality is sometimes gloomy and horrible.
Friends and enemies are made from the same Hand;
So before we fall, we have to learn to stand.
37
There’s only one mystery I can never understand
Of why gravity doesn’t pull back lovers down to land.
They think their hearts are so pure
And that they’ll always shine like gold.
Feelings are the maze they never get out of,
Thinking they can see all from up and above.
So much heartache how they can bare,
Just to stay and exist and care.
It might be a big plan of the universe,
That love is both a blessing and a curse.
38
I turned around to find out you’d left.
You let my dreams to drown and drift.
Time and again the world calls you crazy.
The shimmering tears in your eyes make me hazy.
You carry your mistakes round like a lonely shadow.
So take this pill called Love and just swallow.
39
I carry my past everywhere I go.
I tell my stories to the winds that blow.
I write my plans inside a book in my mind.
I value the bonds only Love can bind.
I so often get lost in my imagination,
Never stopping to clear my confusion.
I have a heart made of stone.
I hate company and like to live alone.
I dream a lot, even during the day.
I ignore them for I’ve got my own ways.
I find comfort in the voice of thunder.
For me, all life is a magical wonder.
40
I can’t help but laugh when I look at my hand,
Seeing how my fate seems to be broken like globules of sand.
I believe we make our own lives and tracks.
Our futures drifts in this universe as tiny packs.
They’ve invented words and phrases to simplify the unseen.
But the flames of discovery float on fast light beams.
41
Time is just an illusion we all live in.
Without instinct, we thrive in evil and sin.
If we never try, we may never know.
Silence is now a song these winds blow.
People in this world come and then go.
Sometimes you’ve just got to sit back and watch the show.
No one really remembers the nine rights and one wrong.
Amid destruction, they pretend to be wise and strong.
What goes on in our minds is only what we think.
Happiness and comfort can often vanish in a blink.
Sometimes these days seem to drag on.
Before you know, the loved ones are wrong.
Head and heart, Love thrives endlessly.
Imagination fills this void world vividly.
The moon looks down at us and smiles with the stars.
While all we do is get wasted and drive in expensive cars.
42
Someday the words of the fallen will make us rise.
Every ounce of power comes with a price.
No doubt or question can hinder true aim.
Living a life is often playing a lost game.
Crimson skies filter the dreams of the forgotten.
We make our own choices to either lose or win.
Sanity is nothing but an illusion we’ve made.
For we turn to dust and ashes as we fade.
43
The sun shines on tall towers and monuments,
Built in the shape of balls and crescents.
The age of stones and sticks is long gone.
City lights come alive at the break of dawn.
Women and men run this world alike.
Speeches are heard by everyone from a single mike.
Thunderstorms are now used as sources of energy.
Cures have been invented for lethargy.
With every benefit comes a heavy cost.
Yet before we know, the spirit of Love is lost.
44
These cracked and yellow walls
Contain your anguish and your downfalls.
The hard, loud beating of the rain
Drowns the noises of poverty and pain.
The hailing wind and the raging storm
Whispers tales of a dead and decaying form.
Roots of Love stem from the heart,
Giving mercy and pain to its every part.
Everything ultimately fulfills its purpose and aim.
Yet all we do best is lose or gamble in life’s game.
45
Time ticks away fast when you don’t bother.
Today money is used for a love catheter.
Bullet holes cover the wall from where light peeps in.
Everyone is looking for a way to cheat and win.
Fortune tellers have travelled back in their past,
For the train of our life is running too fast.
46
The roads today are covered with dead bodies.
Science is trying to contemplate a thousand realities.
There are no answers but only more questions.
The impossible is seen only in imaginations.
Fighting for rights and justice,
Everyone falls from the edge of their precipice.
White flags are waved in the war of Love.
Now we can only be saved from the one sitting above.
47
Everyday the defeated lose more,
Trying to understand what they’re fighting for.
Every morning the sun shines on empty grounds,
Lighting up dark corners that echo horrible sounds.
Every night the moon accompanies the stars,
Shinning on strange roads and broken down cars.
Every word is spoken now without a feeling,
Resonating empty hearts they’re healing.
Every token of Love is overcome by vague details,
Conquered by seas of hate in which a ship of agony sails.
Every smile hides a malice behind it,
Camouflaging the soul’s dark and deadly pit.
Every warrior lives by the strength of his sword,
Paying costs that are more than he can afford.
Every tear is shed on some lost cause,
Falling from hopeless eyes without a pause.
Every promise is kept unfulfilled,
Crushing any hope it can build.
Every stranger looks for a familiar face,
Wanting to see itself in the eyes of grace.
Every second just ticks away,
Stopping only for those who start a happy day.
48
I woke up one early morning,
With an empty heart, no feeling.
The sun outside my window shone on bright,
Offering me a somewhat hopeful sight.
The cries of birds came in clear and loud,
Telling me stories of the humble and the proud.
When I started to make plans for my day,
I didn’t have any words or thoughts to say;
For being alive leaves little time for other things,
That I lose myself in the trance life sings.
49
Long ago there were no planes or ships.
Secrets were passed between sealed lips.
Kings and queens rested among piles of gold.
Idols were worshipped and legends were told.
Rich and poor, as different as day and night.
Little was known about justice and right.
Poems were sung of bravery and wisdom.
Wars were lost in the name of Freedom.
Religion was a stranger no one bothered to meet.
That’s why those days ended with despair and defeat.
50
Lonely paths and quiet streets,
Why are these without beats?
Broken hope and lost cause,
Why do these tears fall without a pause?
Silenced laughter and darkened eyes,
Why does everyone keep saying goodbyes?
Never ending questions and doubts,
Why is religion absent from the root that sprouts?
Ignorant purposes and no aim,
Why does everyone want money and fame?
Fallen peace and tools of warfare,
Why is there no love in the air?
51
No one can change the way they're made.
Save your dreams before they start to fade.
Words are nothing but postage stamps.
Violence lives beneath these street lamps.
War and peace are an inseparable pair.
Hate can be killed from love and prayer.
All the mistakes of our fore fathers
Should be lessons for the one who bothers.
Perception is just a blind side for the sane,
For you can never catch life’s runaway train.
52
Death is so common these days.
Everyone does what the elite group says.
There’s no love but only smoke in the air.
Dead bodies and blood is found everywhere.
War is a song on everyone’s lips.
Freedom is sold on the fingertips.
Lies and hate spill from every mouth.
Bombs are falling from north and south.
Innocent and weak are walked upon.
Money is wasted on the fake and the pawn.
In the middle of this chaos,
A flower of hope shall sprout from the moss.
53
There are more stars than hair on our head.
Before today, all religion was dead.
In the crimson skies on a waking dawn,
Shattered hearts are walked upon.
So soon the shinning hope comes and goes.
No one can be trusted as a friend or a foe.
Further away, these dreams can float.
Instead of trying, we moan and gloat.
A crust of memory covers all I touch.
There’s so much to love but we fight too much.
54
Crowns and kings,
Angels with broken wings,
Sacred grounds amidst an evil,
Listen to whispers that mumble,
Everything comes to an end,
So many mistakes to amend,
Wrong and right come together,
A blood drop stains the pigeon’s feather,
Long before we learn to live,
Only the stars are ours to give.
55
No wars left to win,
Only good in the name of sin,
Desire and affliction are two lost diamonds,
Wasted organizations that give no funds.
Sunny days lost in the heavy mist,
Murder and violence are no. 1 on the list,
Lost and never bothered to be found,
We all scream a roaring, dead sound.
56
You get sad for the ones you miss,
Living in misery and ignoring the bliss.
You catch the last falling snowflakes,
Ignoring the snow and the coldness it makes.
You live with one eye closed,
Seeing the dark that you have aroused.
You speak none of the love you carry,
Drowning the rest in confusion and misery.
You dream of broken skies and empty grounds,
Having nightmares of demons with horrible sounds.
You live in this world so far away,
With nothing to hear, no words to say.
57
We leave behind everything when we go.
Only our memory remains, ever so slow.
No word or action can bring us back.
Soon we’re forgotten without a wound or a crack.
Our bones become ashes and dust.
Everyone lives with hearts full of lust.
When we were alive, they didn’t care.
Now that we’re gone, they have tombstones to stare.
They never give you enough value when you’re alive.
After the time passes, they realize how we did thrive.
58
There is no such thing as family.
It is just an empty concept of reality.
They never care enough for what you say
Because they just want you out of their way.
Enemies may become friends in the end.
People often forget mistakes they’ve got to mend.
You only have yourself to love and blame.
For no one will help you win life’s game.
59
When the heart is yet to be tamed
It despises everyone without being ashamed.
Some words are spoken from actions.
Many worlds collide in imaginations.
The rhythm of life is made to fade away,
But sings lie within to guide on the way.
60
All these people think they’re always right,
Yet their intentions are cruel and dark like the night.
They never stop putting blames for their mistakes.
They spill hatred greater than the mountains and lakes.
They continue to talk and don’t listen to what others say,
Scared things might not go their way.
They should be thrust in a dark place somewhere far,
Where they can’t hurt our sun and our star.
61
I wish I could block out your voice forever.
I hate the fact you think you’re so clever.
Day and night you fight with me.
There’s only hatred in your eyes that I see.
You never listen to what I’ve got to say,
As you’re so intent on ruining my day.
Looking at your face fills me with a rage.
Near you I feel trapped in a cage.
You forget all that I do for your sake.
The pain you give me is more than I can take.
I’m just something you can break and bend.
Your mistakes are often mine to mend.
As the sun is sure to shine at the crack of dawn,
I’m sure you won’t miss me when I’m gone.
62
So far this train will take you,
Into a land filled with black and blue.
The seas have spilled all their treasures.
Salty skies fall from the great pressure.
No land can now be walked upon.
Crimson skies light up at the crack of dawn.
All these things you save in your hands,
Will be nothing but smoke on a ruined land.
63
So soon this beauty fades away.
Here it comes, a brand new day.
Tethers of reality float in this mist.
Dreaming is no. 1 on my list.
The night owl sits on the lonely tree.
In today’s world, only a few are free.
Broken is the sword of the warrior.
In the name of love, no one is mightier.
64
Long and hard you pray,
Living and dying everyday.
No amount of mercy can win the defeated.
Look for love where my heart once rested.
The rain washes away blood from your scars.
All your freedom is imprisoned behind these bars.
Empty benches line your hallway.
A day will come when you’ll forget what to say.
I still shine on the hope you lost.
But before it fades, you die in the frost.
65
Weak and young, they sing along,
Not caring if their lyrics are right or wrong.
Before they know, the rhythm sets in.
Putting love on their faces as they grin.
All the life flows through their veins.
Their limbs move without sticks and canes.
So all they do now is live and sing.
For they are birds flying without wings.
66
Obsessed with a joy with which they smile,
All your hate is now mounted in a pile.
The angel of mercy comes at your doorway.
Soon you’ll know the right things to say.
Time and space delve deep in your dreams.
Nothing turns out the way it seems.
Flickers of a dying love burn in you eyes.
So catch your heart before it flies.
67
Cold hands, white face,
Such a big mind in a small space.
Broken skies and fallen stars,
Such a wasted life of stealing cars.
Loud thoughts and confused dreams,
Such a fast vision sitting on light beams.
Black hearts and strange love,
Such a heavy rain coming from above.
Ignorant purpose and a blind aim,
Such a cruel world of money and fame.
Lost hope and battered breath,
Such a high dose of opium and meth.
68
Do they hear the words we say?
For our sound comes from far away.
Do they look for our faces in the crowd?
For we can’t speak our thoughts aloud.
Do they make way for us in this fog?
For we float in a lost river with a piece of log.
Do they listen to the songs we sing?
For we forget the lyrics at the throne of our king.
Do they come to bury us in the ground?
For we are treasures they never found.
69
We are slaves of ourselves but not of Time.
We live and lose in our prime.
