  INT. BEDROOM -- NIGHT

FADE IN: MIKE turns on the camera. It is in the night vision mode.

As he moves away we see that the camera is set against the double bed and the bedroom door.

A woman on the bed, KATE, wraps herself tighter in blanket, asking suspiciously:

  KATE

Did you just turn the camera on?

  MIKE

  No.

  KATE

What do you mean - no? I can see the light's flashing from here!

He walks over to the bed dropping articles of his clothing on the floor as he goes.

  MIKE

Come on, honey, Kate, it's not what you're thinking.

  KATE

  It's exactly what I'm thinking!

Mike sits on the bed and takes his socks off throwing them on the floor.

  MIKE

  Come on!

  KATE

  What are you doing?!

  MIKE

  What? Taking the socks off?

  KATE

Pick them up, pick them up! Put everything neatly!

  MIKE

Come on, Kate, you're such a neat freak!

Nevertheless, he obliges and places his cloths neatly on the chair.

  MIKE

  Better?

Kate answers with a sigh of relief:

  KATE

  Yes.

He climbs, into bed, under the blanket and tries to fool around.

  KATE

  No, Mike! The camera!

  MIKE

Don't worry about it, baby. It's not what you think.

  KATE

  You said it already.

  MIKE

  It's for our safety.

  KATE

  How's that?

  MIKE

You know, in case something weird happens, while we're asleep. Like in movies.

  She freaks out:

  KATE

Don't even say this! Never say this! Mike, turn it off. Please. I'll scream!

  MIKE

All right, all right! Don't know what's the big deal.

He gets out of bed, walks to the camera and turns it off.

  FADE OUT TO BLACK

  INT. BEDROOM -- MORNING

FADE IN: MIKE turns on the camera.

He playfully chases Kate in her robe.

  MIKE (OS)

Come on, baby, just a little flash? Show me some skin for posterity!

She shrieks and runs out the bedroom.

  The camera follows her.

  INT. MAIN FLOOR -- MORNING

The camera enters the staircase leading from the second floor bedroom to the ground floor and catches the shape of Kate running into the kitchen.

Suddenly, a blood-curling scream can be heard.

With the camera on, Mike runs to the rescue.

He enters the kitchen where the freaked out Kate shrieks pointing at the washed dishes and the clean floor.

  MIKE (OS)

  What's wrong?

Crying Kate throws herself at him, seeking protection.

  KATE

  The dishes!

  MIKE (OS)

  What about them?

  KATE

They're clean! And the floor, too! Can't you see?

  MIKE (OS)

Yeah. Never seen it cleaner. Great job!

  Kate gets hysterical:

  KATE

Oh, Mike, don't you understand?! We didn't do any dishes last night! The house was a mess! And look at it know.

  She breaks down bawling.

  MIKE (OS)

What are you saying, honey? Someone broke in to do the dishes?

  KATE

  I'm scared, Mike, I'm scared.

  The camera is turned off.

  FADE OUT TO BLACK

  INT. MAIN FLOOR -- DAY

FADE IN: The camera shows Mike and a SECURITY SYSTEM INTALLER standing in the middle of the first floor.

  SECURTY SYSTEM INTALLER

I'm sure that's all you ever need to make sure no intruder gets in unnoticed.

  He notices the camera.

  SECURITY SYSTEM INTALLER

  Oh, hello there.

  Mike turns to the camera.
