  Acknowledgements

Jennifer Bray-Weber. My amazing editor and friend for being honest with me and teaching me so much in the process. Thank you for handling my meltdowns with gentle compassion and for understanding my frustration. . .all of my frustration. I could not have done this without you. You are a true rockstar.

Nina Cordoba. AKA, the Query Fairy. Thank you for working your magic with my blurb. It's difficult to summarize a story that has already been summarized by someone else, but you managed to make it sound even better. For that I sing your praises and wonder what it must feel like to be so gifted.

  F. Anthony Musgrave, PLLC. Thank you for being readily available to help me escape the claws trying to drag me down.

My Street Team. Jenny, Noel, Jenine, Noelle, Harriet, Jayne, Krystal, Jenn, Gail, Kama, Kristin, Dana, Michelle, Wanda, Tria, and Jennifer. Thank you for pimping me out. Your support and enthusiasm means the world to me and keeps me going.

Momma. Without you I would never have finished the legwork of this long and frustrating process. You spent hours on the phone listening and offering suggestions, told me what was good and what wasn't, encouraged and bragged to everyone you know. Thank you, Momma. You're my biggest fan, and I love you with all my heart.

David Rojas, JD. Thanks for sharing your legal ninja skills without hesitation or fees to a chick you hardly knew. Sorry I bombarded you with questions so soon after meeting you.

The Northwest Houston RWA chapter. Thank you for holding my hand and guiding me through the dark when I was clueless about my next step. Jenn, Stacey, Rhonda, Jan, Will, Robin, and Raven. I owe you so much.

My former publisher. Thanks for getting me started in what I hope will become a flourishing career.

Sue Quiroz, Regina Carpinelli, and Heather Graham. You guys have given me my first taste of opportunity and enjoyment in this public career and I can't thank you enough for your guidance, attention, and friendship.

  Meet Judy McDonough

Judy McDonough is a southern author of the Paranormal Romance series titled The Bayou Secrets Saga. An Arkansas native and U.S. Navy veteran, she was stationed in New Orleans where she met her husband, Mike. In eleven years, they've lived in Louisiana, Tennessee, and now reside in Texas with their three young boys.

Judy is a member of the Romance Writers of America and is the publicity chair for the Northwest Houston chapter. Fascinated with the supernatural and haunting elements of the South, her writing style will always include some facet of the extraordinary whether through her characters, their settings, or the situations in which they find themselves.

Though her series is Paranormal Romance, that's not all she intends to write. She believes a vivid imagination should not be limited to only one style, so Judy plans to continue creating powerful, inspiring, thought-provoking stories no matter the genre. Brilliant ideas strike at random times in any glitter-coated form, so she wants to polish those raw gemstones to invent compelling stories.

You can follow Judy through her website and social media outlets.
