Read Dipping His Pen in the Office Ink Page 5

  Chapter Three

Living on the moon was fantastic for all of an hour. Now, this constant darkness was making my head ache. I could barely see in this light and all the squinting was killing me. Maybe it had something to do with working late. I had screwed up on this important form and had to rewrite the entire thing again. It was well after midnight when I finally finished up. I was tired, cranky, and I still had to walk home to check my apartment for any unwanted guests before I fell into bed. I stumbled out of my office and made my way down to the fourth floor. The room on this floor opened up to a huge reception area. There were two big desks with filling cabinets on the wall and hovering computers. There was a holographic sign that said ‘Out for the night, please return tomorrow.’ I was just going to drop these papers off and be on my way. I left my jacket crumpled on the desk. The door to Lyon’s office was wide and tall. There were carvings of bears in the wood that caught my eye. Why bears? Maybe because Lyon was like a big, gay bear. I shuddered. Masturbate later, work now. I knocked lightly on the door. When I heard nothing, I pushed it open.

The office wasn’t like I expected. There was a huge desk hovering before full-length windows. Three plush seats were in a half circle facing the desk. Framed awards lined the wall. There were two lamps in the corners, bear themed. Even the chair behind his desk had bears carved into the wood. It seemed Lyon had some serious love of them. Which was kind of funny being named Lyon. I walked to his desk and was about to drop the papers when the door to my left opened.

Lyon stopped as he stepped out. Shirtless.

Words fled me. There was my boss without a shirt on. His shoulders were muscular, broad, and his arms were thicker than I thought. He flexed them and I swear I started drooling. I could imagine them wrapping around me. His chest was pure hard flesh splattered with dark hair. His nipples were flat circles. My gaze didn’t stop there. His abs were dips and muscular bulges. He had a line of hair that led to this rim of his suit pants. I glanced back up into his brown eyes. Damn, I just eye fucked my boss.

  “Quinn?”

Words, I needed words, sentences, explanations. I went with waving the papers in my hand.

Lyon pulled the plain white shirt over his shoulders and up his arms. It had an ink stain over the pocket that was wet around the edges like he’d tried to clean it off. “Paperwork?”

  I nodded.

“Did you lose your voice?” he asked with a smirk.

I handed him the papers. His warm, musky scent wafted to me. “No. Sir. There’s the um...file I wrote up.”

He glanced at the papers. “Good work.” He started reading. His shirt was still open, his chest was close enough for me to reach out and touch. “Is there something else?” He looked up at me.

Yeah, I’d like to offer my mouth for you to use however you please. “I...nope. Nothing.” I turned on my heels to run out of the office before I made a complete ass of myself. Of course, I kind of swung my hand out a bit in eagerness and hit the cup of half-filled coffee on the edge of Lyon’s desk. “Damn,” I muttered, grabbing for it as it fell. Warm liquid splashed my chest as I tried to seize it. It splattered on the smooth wooden floors and rolled under his hovering desk. “Fucking hell. I’m sorry,” I said as I went down on my knees. I retrieved the cup, which was now empty and stood up. “I’ll clean this up. I can buy you a new cup or...” I stopped blabbering long enough to stare at him.

Lyon was breathing heavily, staring at my shirt.

The coffee had soaked through making the thing nearly transparent. My nipple piercing was pressing against the material. It was a simple bar with balls at each end going horizontal. “Mr. Harrison.”

He jerked liked he’d been in a trance. “What?”

“I can buy you another cup and I’ll get something to clean this up.”

Lyon looked back to my nipple. “You’re pierced?”

Oh, we were going to talk about that then? “Yes.”

  “Both?”

  “Yes.”

“I always wanted to get them.” He was still staring at my chest.

I grinned. “It hurt in a very good way.” Damn, I was trying not to sound salacious and failing miserably.

“How good?” His gaze traveled down my body and I knew the moment he saw my tented pants.

“Very.” Suddenly our voices were hushed, breathy and I could feel the warmth from Lyon’s skin. “You should get your nipples...” That’s as far as I got. Fuck it. I leaned forward and pressed my lips to his. Professional? Nope. Satisfying? Hell yes. I opened my mouth sucking his bottom lip in and sliding my tongue across it. Lyon was still unresponsive. Had I really just read the situation wrong and kissed my boss? I was seriously having doubts until he started kissing back. Our lips were all over the place. No co-ordination whatsoever. We were both too horny for that. He licked at my chin, his tongue sliding along my teeth. I tried to get my tongue into his mouth but like I said, no fucking rhythm. Lyon grabbed the front of my shirt. He pushed me to the desk, his hand sinking into my auburn hair and he held me still. His touch was dominating, ravishing, amazing. I just stood there and let his mouth work mine into a groaning, overwhelmed mess. His hand in my shirt tightened and I heard some stitches ripping.

Lyon grabbed my legs, lifting me to the desk.

Lick a dick! Sex with the boss on his desk? I grabbed his arms. He was all rigid muscle. Lyon spread my legs, pressing between them as his kiss took control. I was trying to keep up but was just being led wherever Lyon wanted. He stepped closer. I could feel his cock in his pants growing. He pressed it against me and I let out a soft groan. “Lyon.”

Apparently, saying his name was the wrong thing to do. He pulled away, stared down at where our bodies were grinding together, and jumped back. His mouth floundered open and closed. He shoved his shirt over his chest.

I hopped off the desk. Yeah, our sexual moment was over. He was fighting this thing between us, which is exactly what I should have done. I have a stalker on my ass and he was my boss. Bad plan didn’t even begin to cover it.

“Quinn, I’m sorry.” He cleared his throat, his lips red. “That was extremely unprofessional.”

“I liked it.” I straightened my tie, which was thrown over my shoulder.

Lyon frowned. “I make it a rule not to...dip my pen in the office ink.”

  I grinned. Nice analogy there.

“I have your paperwork. You can leave now. And I apologize for my behavior.” He was buttoning his shirt. Acting like we’d fucked and he regretted it.

Damn, I screwed that one up. “Yes, Mr. Harrison.” Sir would just sound too submissive right now and my dick was so hard it could probably crack the dome. I walked away, the door open as I grabbed my jacket and headed for the elevator. My shirt sleeve was loose, and a hole was in the shoulder seam from Lyon’s strength.

I shoved my jacket on as the doors opened. The lobby was empty, at least as far as I could see. I smothered my wild hair with my fingers and rubbed at my lips with the back of my hand. They almost felt swollen. Damn, Lyon could kiss a straight man gay. I shook my head and stepped out. Darkness glared at me from the outside. There were a few lights on to illuminate the streets of rock between the buildings. The dome was lit too so that it wasn’t pitch dark. With my eyes though, I could hardly see. Speaking of which, I lost my glasses somewhere. They were on when we started kissing, but I just realized they weren’t on my face anymore. I would definitely never be a detective. Oh well, I’d use my old pair and search them out tomorrow.

What was it going to be like facing Lyon now? He said no to dipping his pen, but our kiss had been feral. Would he really turn down a fuck that promised such passion? Then again, should I even be thinking about him? I needed this job. I frowned as I walked through the lobby to the main door. There was no wind, no storms, and no moon. It was still strange as I moved through the rocky path between thick green shrubs. I could just about see them. I couldn’t get over looking out into the sky and seeing Earth up there. My
gaze was up so when the bend came I sort of stumbled around it. I didn’t even see the low shrub and tumbled forward. I landed on my hands and knees. “Fucking stupid shit.” I fell to my ass, kicking at the bush. I blinked a few times and just sat there. Pissed off, embarrassed, horny, and stuck on the fucking moon. The night closed around me like a dark cape draped over my face. My palms felt raspy as I wiped them against each other. Minute pieces of rock sprinkled onto the ground.

“Are you all right?” It was Lyon’s deep voice.

Fantastic, just what I wanted him to see. “Yeah, fine.” I stood up and brushed off my suit pants. Didn’t look like much damage.

“Is that because of your glasses?” he asked, standing a few feet away and not coming closer.

Did I have leprosy now? “Genetics,” I murmured, feeling awkward around him now.

“I found these on the floor.” He held up my glasses, the right lens cracked. He almost looked sheepish and guilty as he handed them to me.

“Thanks.” I wasn’t sure what else to say. I kept thinking of sexual jokes and knew if I told them I’d be fired. We tried the kiss and he wanted to back out. It was probably best for us both, but my hard cock didn’t understand that. “Goodnight, Mr. Harrison.” I turned around, put one foot in front of the other. All I saw were dark shadows and blurry shapes as I walked down the path. I made it all of eight feet before I smacked into a low tree branch. “Motherfucker!” I spit out the word, grabbing my nose.

“Are you drunk or just bemused from our kiss?”

I snorted, which made my nose throb. At least it wasn’t bleeding. I pinched the bridge while I turned to him. He was standing next to me. I hadn’t even heard him move. “Night blindness.”

He lifted a dark eyebrow. “Really?”

“Yeah. I have degenerative eye issue.” I sniffled a few times and started walking. It surprised me when Lyon followed. “Did you change your mind about us?” I gave his broad, muscular, body a once over.

“No.” Lyon said it firmly. “I don’t want my employee getting beaten by branches on their way home from work.”

“Yeah, those trees are real bullies.”

  Lyon smiled.

We started walking again. This time slower since without glasses, my vision was a bit worse for the wear. “You know...it was a good kiss.” Yeah, I was back on the subject.

“It was,” Lyon said softly. His jacket was unbuttoned and it flapped open to reveal the bulge in his trousers.

That made me feel better. At least I wasn’t the only one still reeling from our touch. My dick was still very aware of how much I enjoyed that kiss. “And the walk home is just...to keep me safe from trees.” I grinned.

  “Stairs.” He pointed.

I turned my head and just about ran into a set of stairs that led into the basement of a building. Great impression. I sidestepped it. “My hero.”

  “I do try to please.”

“I believe you could do a lot of that.” I winked at him. Yeah, I was being flirty. I liked Lyon and we were sexually attracted to each other. Maybe it was time for me to branch out. Pun intended. What were the chances of Sean finding me here?

  Lyon looked away.

I couldn’t see if he liked my line of conversation or not. Stupid night blindness. We turned the corner and I could see my building. It was dark except for my apartment on the fifth floor. The lights were all on like I’d left them. “Do you want to come up?” Why not? Flirt with the boss, have some hot sex, and hope it’s not another crazy one. I could only handle one nut at a time. I grinned thinking of entirely different nuts to handle.

  “I better not.”

I nodded, keeping quiet. Okay, I tried. Looks like it was back to being boss and employee. Well, until I saw him with his shirt off again in my fantasies. I was totally going to masturbate to that memory. We came upon the door to my building. I turned to him slowly. It kind of felt like that awkward walk home after a first date. Ironic. “Well, Mr. Harrison. Thank you.” I gave him my best sixty-watt smile. Maybe I could entice him.

“See you at work tomorrow, Quinn.”

Damn. Hey, can’t blame a guy for trying. Lyon was too fucking hot to pass up without at least trying to get his dick in my mouth. I turned around and opened the door. I didn’t look back and stepped on the elevator. When the doors were just about to close, I did glance up. Lyon was still standing there. Nice. Maybe was thinking about me naked. I rubbed at my crotch, trying to ease the pressure. It had been a long few days without a hint of release. Having a psycho searching for you tended to soften a man’s cock. Today, however, I had a stiffy to rival a horny giant. My mind was completely on Lyon. His ass in those pants. The bulge I felt against my stomach. Our kiss. I was smiling like a fool when the doors opened and I saw Sean’s handsome, crazy face. “Fuck.” The word blurted out. I shoved myself backward until I hit the wall.

  “Miss me?”

I ground my teeth together. He didn’t advance.

“Oh come on. At least with our time apart you could say you missed me.” Sean smiled. “I missed you. I kept thinking about our last time together. The way I sucked your dick so hard you started to chant my name. I hope you’re not still mad at me.”

Keep talking you mad fuck. I edged ever so slightly toward the corner of the elevator. If I could hit the emergency button or get to the lobby. Maybe Lyon hadn’t walked away yet.

  “Quinn?”

I was staring right at him. “What?”

Sean frowned. “You didn’t miss me, did you?”

“Of course not you crazy fucking idiot.” Oh, shit. Did I say that aloud? I winced.

Sean pulled the knife from behind his back. He was wearing black jeans and a bright red shirt with ruffled sleeves and big buttons. He looked like a damn gigolo from the nineteen hundreds. The moment he lunged, I struck out with my fist. I managed to punch his arm and jam my hand on the emergency button. Alarms started going off. Sean took another swipe at me and the blade slit my jacket. He jumped into the elevator and I grabbed his wrist with the weapon. No way was I going down without a fight. The doors closed. Couldn’t I get a fucking break here? I kicked at Sean’s leg. He fell back and I tried to punch him in the head but missed. I had to at least get the weapon away. He jabbed it toward me. The sharp edge slid across my hip, through my pants, and drew blood. I felt the abrupt pain and the warm liquid dripping down my hip. “Leave me alone,” I shouted. I was tired of this sick son of a bitch ruining my life.

I punched his side and grabbed the knife. He clocked me right in the fucking head. My vision swam for a minute and then something knocked into me. The doors opened as I fell. I was half out of the elevator when I kicked out with both my legs. I tumbled backward to put more space between us. A lot of good that did me. The blade sliced at my arm. I grunted, swinging like a rabid animal with my fists. The light here sucked. Please, God, don’t let me die because I couldn’t see. The blade glinted. I rolled out of the way and hit my head against a wall. I went down with a slump. Sean was right in front of me—I could just about see the anger in his narrowed eyes.

“You said you loved me,” he screamed at my face, the knife against the delicate skin of my neck.

Damn it. I wish I had at least gotten to kiss Lyon again. Funny how that was my only regret. Well, that and ever meeting this fanatical shithead. I was breathing heavily. My heartbeat was so loud in my ears, the thumping erratic. I heard something else. It sounded like a growl. I blinked a few times and the shadow at the door came barreling toward us. Was that a fucking bear? There were no fucking bears on the moon! I tensed for the impact, but the huge shadow slammed into Sean. I heard screaming, roaring. My sight had to be fucking with my head. There was no way I saw a big furry bear. I sat there like a rock for a moment as the sounds of the fight moved further down the hall. I should be running. I knew I should be, but I was suddenly exhausted. My hip was bloody, my head hurt, and my erection was officially down for the count.

  “Quinn?”
>
My head rolled to the side. Was that Lyon? He was shirtless. No, he was fucking naked. Try as I might I couldn’t see past his bent leg and the light still sucked.

  “Quinn?”

“I’m here,” I mumbled, wincing. My voice sounded funny, slurred almost. I cleared my throat.

Lyon was moving away. When he returned a moment later, he had his pants on, his shirt open, and his jacket was gone. “Who was that? Do you need me to take you to medical?”

I couldn’t afford that shit. On the moon it was three times as expensive. “No.” I used the wall to stand. My head wasn’t pounding as much. It was just the gash on my leg that hurt. “I’m okay. Where is he?” Sean. Right. I glanced around, seeing dark blurs that had nothing to do with my headache.

“The guy’s gone. I scared him off. You’re hurt?” Lyon grabbed my arm. “Come on.”

“I can’t go to medical.” I pulled back.

“My place.” He pulled hard. Damn, Lyon was strong. It made me think of him spanking my ass with that big hand of his. Even stabbed I still thought with my dick. He ushered me from my building and I grimaced when he flagged down a hover car and I sat in it. Then we were off into the night.

I had to call the law and probably waste money on medical. It occurred to me that I had to contact witness protection to tell them they sucked some serious ass and that I needed new digs. A new ID, new apartment, new job. It all rattled around in my head and before I could deal with the anxiety that Sean had found me again, my eyelids started to close. A bear had saved me. Yeah, right. Maybe I was the one going nuts.
