Breaking Bread
“It’s about time you woke up,” Eagle Eye enthusiastically said as Square Face twitches an open eye.
“Where am I?” asks Square Face.
“You’re in my new crib,” replied Sir King.
“Gene and David are on their way. David’s being excused from school now as we speak. Russell’s in boot camp, so he won’t be able to make it today. However, he’ll know you’re free soon enough after reading this letter I’m about to send. Buckoy lives right next door; boy, will he be surprised to see you,” Eagle Eye informed.
Square Face started talking again, “Is this a dream? Did I die? Ouch! Damn, that’s my nipple!”
“That should wake you up my man. One hell of a titty twister isn’t it?” Eagle Eye asked as they all start laughing.
David and Gene walk in with great smiles, “I have something for you Square Face. Take a look,” said David has he hands it over.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe it. I thought I’d lost this watch for good. My grandpa passed this down to me. It’s been in the family for generations. Thank you kid. How did you manage to get it?” Square Face asked puzzled.
“The people that took it from you turned it into a tournament prize. I happen to be the grand prize winner,” boasted David.
Buckoy walked in and states, “I thought I heard some commotion going on over here. What’s the big occasion?” he turns and looks at Square Face, “Whoa, when did you get out?”
“Apparently just now, I can’t believe it myself,” replied Square Face.
“It’s all thanks to this man right here; my man Gene, for finding a way in leading us to free you. Let’s all gather around the table and have a toast… To our future and whatever it beholds,” Sir King cheered.
