They all ran towards the village and saw people lying unconscious and injured on the ground. Sam pulled out some water from the well and sprayed them on some people. After several minutes, one person opened his eyes. Notch kneeled down and held his hand. He gave him some water and asked, “Hey, who did this? Please tell me.”
That person tried to speak but before he could speak, his eyes fell on Steve. His eyes immediately went wide with fear. He released his hand from Notch’s grip and tried to run away but slipped and fell down. Sam picked him up and said in a reassuring tone, “Hey, don’t panic. We are here to help you.” He looked at Sam in disbelief. He then pointed his finger at Steve and said, “This man is responsible for all the destruction. He is a devil!”
“I think that this destruction is done by other Steve,” said Jack.
“No, no. He is a monster. I saw him with my own eyes. His eyes were red and there was a maniac smile on his face. He had a golden sword and he was destroying everything that came in his way. He destroyed our entire village in a matter of seconds! He is very powerful. Don’t let his innocent look deceive you. He will kill you all!”
“Red eyes,” said Steve, “He must be that person who keeps appearing in our world.”
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement except for that man who was on the ground. He was still in disbelief.
“We have to find him,” said Notch. Then he asked that man, “Hey, can you tell me where he went from here?”
That man pointed his finger straight ahead towards a snow clad mountain and said, “I saw him going in that direction. That’s ‘Mount Efildar’ or the mountain of life.”
“We need to hurry up and find him before its too late, otherwise he will destroy everything,” said Steve.
“There is no need to find anyone because everything is destroyed,” said a voice. Everyone turned and they saw a guy dressed as Ninja. His eyes were purple in color and he looked angry.
“Everything is destroyed,” he repeated, “Our world, our trust and our friendship.”
“Who are you? I don’t know you. I am sorry but I think there is some mistake,” said Steve.
This made that guy angrier, he said, “Wow Steve! Now you have forgotten me, betraying us was not good enough...Huhh.”
Jack stepped in and said, “Hey, there is definitely some mistake. He is not the Steve that you are thinking. He is not from this world.”
“I know who he is and I know that he is not from this world. He is from Earth. We trained him, we made him a warrior. We helped him in every possible way and this is how he pays back,” shouted ninja guy.
“You are Harry, right!” said Notch.
“Who are you?” said Harry, “and how do you know my name?”
“I am Notch. You would have heard about me. I am the one who created Minecraft world,” said Notch.
Look on Harry’s face suddenly changed from anger to wonder.
“I must say that you look like Notch but how can I believe you?” said Harry.
“First listen to me and then you can decide whether you want to believe me or not,” said Notch. “This Steve here belongs to different Minecraft world. The Steve that caused destruction here was your Steve. Some evil force has overpowered him and he is not in his senses right now.”
“You mean to say that there are two Steve’s,” asked Harry.
“There are several Steves and there are several Minecrafts. Many different worlds exist at the same point of time and at same place. You can say that many parallel universes exist at the same point of time. They do not clash with each other because all the worlds have different frequencies. There will be many Harrys and there would be many Notchs!”
Harry seemed baffled. He said, “How is this possible? You mean to say that you all have come from some other Minecraft world. How you have come here and most importantly why have you come here?”
“We came here because for some unknown reasons, both of our worlds are closely connected. The destruction that has happened in your world also has an impact on our world. Our Steve is experiencing sudden blackouts. A guy, who looks exactly like Steve but has red eyes appears out of nowhere and then disappears. There are lots of things happening all at once,” said Notch.
“Who is the guy who overpowered Steve?” asked Harry.
“We don’t know yet but we will soon find out. My best guess would be dark lord or his disciple because the energy that I sense is dark energy. Fighting off dark energy is not going to be easy because dark energy is the most destructive force in the entire universe,” said Notch.
“Okay, so what should we do now,” asked Sam.
“First of all, you all will come with me to the Abode of Ninjas. We need to make a strategy to fight this so called ‘Dark Steve’. He is dangerous and powerful. He has already caused much damage. We are still trying to save people from dying,” said Harry.
“Yes you are correct,” said Notch. “We must definitely make a plan.”
“Abode of Ninjas, that’s a cool name,” said Jack.
Steve smiled and bowed. Then he turned towards Steve and said, “Please forgive me for my anger. I thought that you were our Steve. You look exactly like him.”
Steve smiled and said, “Its Ok bro, everyone makes mistakes. Even your Steve is under influence otherwise he wouldn’t do what he is doing right now.”
Harry nodded his head thoughtfully and then said, “So please follow me. Abode of Ninjas is not far away. It will only take us 10-15 minutes to reach that place.”
Harry turned and started walking, everyone followed. Along the way, they saw countless broken houses and uprooted trees. Some children were crying because they couldn’t find their family members and some people were buried under the debris.
Harry stopped for a second and looked at those villagers. He looked sad. The condition of village was indeed miserable. Sam saw that and walked forward.
He then raised his hands and said, “O ythgimla, pleh esoht ni deen.”
Immediately broken houses, magically reconstructed themselves. Uprooted trees stood up once again and everything restored back to normal.
Harry’s mouth fell wide open and he somehow managed to saw, “Wow!” he said, “Now, I definitely don’t have any doubt that we are on the same side.”
They walked for a mile or so then they saw it, ”Abode of Ninjas”. Abode of Ninjas had a big palace built in an ancient style under snow clad mountain. This place had a certain degree of calmness associated with it. It was the place where young kids turned into Masters.
As soon as they reached the gates of abode of Ninjas, they were greeted by two ninjas. They both bowed and said, “Welcome to the ‘Abode of Ninjas’.”
Everyone followed Harry, who took them into that palace. There was calmness all around. One could see two or three ninjas practicing here and there but apart from that there was no one here at the moment.
“Normally this place is filled with Ninjas but these days most of the Ninjas are busy. They are busy saving the people of our villages,” Harry said.
Finally Harry asked us to stop. He said, “Ok gentleman, I would like all of you to meet someone. He is the head of Ninjas, our mentor, our Master. Just give me a second.”
He then ran into one of the rooms and came out in about 5 minutes with a man who looked very old. This man was old but the way he walked and held himself showed that he was more agile than youngsters.
He came down and stood before everyone. He didn’t speak but surveyed everyone with his eyes. His eyes rested on Steve for longer than usual. He then cleared his throat and said, “Welcome to the Abode of Ninjas, gentleman. I am sorry that we were not able to properly greet you because all our ninjas are busy at the moment.”
“It’s a great honor to meet you Master Kung,” said Notch.
Master Kung looked a bit surprised but then laughed heartily and said, “Of course, of course. Notch, the creator can read anyone’s mind. It’s indeed a pleasure to meet you sir.”
; Notch and Master Kung bowed to each other. Then Master Kung looked at Steve and said, “I humbly ask you to pardon Harry, Steve. You definitely look like our Steve but you are not him. I see that you are a great warrior and it is indeed a good news that you have come to help us in these troubled times.”
Steve bowed to Master Kung and Master Kung bowed back. Then Master Kung said, “According to our sources, Steve is currently somewhere near the mount Efildar. To defeat him we need to suppress his energy and for that we need to make a potion called ‘Exitium Consto’. The ingredients required for that potion will be found on our way to Mount Efildar in the forest of Tarkashan. It’s an ancient potion and it is super rare. I have a ninja in my team who knows how to make that potion. We will make that potion along the way. After the initial battle begins, our next step would be to figure out the weakness of Steve. We need to find out what has overpowered him and how to save him.”
Master Kung then paused and looked at everyone and when everyone nodded their heads, he said, “If you all are ready, we can begin right away.”
“Yes, we are ready Master,” said everyone.
Master Kung smiled and said,”Okay, have some refreshments gentleman and then we can begin right away.”
Master Kung clapped his hands and one ninja came with the refreshments. Everyone had their refreshments and they were ready in about 10 minutes.
“Okay, let’s go. If we begin early, we will reach there in three hours.”
With that they began walking. Master Kung told them that Mount Efildar is also known as mountain of life. It is said that life first started here. Earlier many people used to live there but as time passed, people started living in different parts of Minecraft.
After walking for one hour, they saw the tip of Mount Efildar. It was surrounded by dense forest of ‘Tarkashan’. Mount Kung pointed at Mount Efildar and said, “There is our destination and we just need to cross this forest to reach there. We will be there in about 2 hours.”
“Who says, you are going to reach there,” said a frightening voice. Immediately winds started blowing and weather became worse and there were thunderstorm and lightning everywhere.
Everyone turned on instinct. ‘Dark Steve’ was standing about 20 meters away from them. His eyes were red and he had a maniac look on his face.
“I knew you would come,” said Master Kung quietly.
