be honest. Expect Tyler to cause problems for Cane and Lily!

As an aside, I’m thrilled Y&R is utilizing the beauty, talent and sexual prowess Angel Conwell boasts in spades. I have no idea why Maria Arena Bell didn’t use this breakout star especially opposite Kristoff St. John. Conwell, who has chemistry with every leading male on this show, could be the Victoria Rowell solution this show desperately needs because for the life of Y&R it cannot find a viable African American heroine.

Meanwhile, look for “FOJ” Ignacio Serricchio to tap Genoa City on Dec. 7. “Jill Farren Phelps gave me my first big job on GH and started my career,” he says.

So she’s to blame, huh? Joking, Ignacio!

The actor tells DIGEST he came super close to nabbing a role on HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS but he was too old — even though he shaved every single hair on his face to look younger. FYI: Did you know that Serricchio worked with his Y&R co-star Robert Adamson on LINCOLN HEIGHTS seven years ago? Yep, Adamson is that old!

  • Hair Model Alert: Want to follow a hilarious new Twitter account? Check out @MuhneysHair… a tongue-and-cheek Twitter account by Michael Muhney himself. Inspired, I’m going to start my own Twitter account spoof: @SharonsCrazyEyes.

  • Don’t miss Y&R on Monday, Shadam fans! While spoilers state that Sharon lets Adam go forever, the magnetic, Emmy-worthy scenes between Sharon Case and Michael Muhney are so spellbinding that one can only hope Y&R sees this couple as the end game! Despite all the damage done to the couple by former head writer Maria Arena Bell, Muhney and Case have somehow miraculously kept this couple’s integrity in tact. I want more, damn it! Shadam is the best couple on this show, in my opinion. However, I do not want them to reunite for a long time. Make us laugh, make us cry, and make us cream our panties while we wait.

  • Oink, oink! George Clooney, who? And who needs Y&R? Not Kevin Schmidt! File this under hilarious: The actor, who was fired this past summer as Noah, bought a micro pig named Yuma back in February for a $10,000. The purchase was a wise decision for the unemployed actor because the tiny pig became a sensation online and has amassed over 5,000 Twitter followers and copious YouTube videos dedicated to its very adorable existence. Schmidt decided to capitalize on the pig's fame and started dropping $1,000/month to train Yuma. It's paid off and now the little guy rakes in $15,000 for public appearances (which Schmidt attends) and $5,000 for movie and TV gigs. All in all, Yuma has made around $30,000 and now he's dropping a clothing line at the end of the month. Smart kid!

  • Good news for Y&R: According to that annoying search engine, Bing, Y&R is the number-one searched scripted series and third overall most searched-for TV show! Look:

  1. AMERICAN IDOL

  2. DANCING WITH THE STARS

  3. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

  4. THE WALKING DEAD

  5. FAMILY GUY

  6. HERE COMES HONEY BOO BOO

  7. GLEE

  8. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

  9. THE BACHELOR

  10. GAME OF THRONES

  • Is Y&R chemistry testing Michelle Stafford and Blake Hood? If you watched Y&R this past week, it sure looked like it. What do you think?

  • Is Toronto big enough for two bitches? Apparently so! This past weekend, my lover George Guzman, Y&R’s hairstylist, was in town for the March of Dimes/Kate Linder Toronto Tea. Also in attendance were Christian LeBlanc, Tracey Bregman, Elizabeth Hendrickson, recently ousted Jeff Branson, and make-up artist Patti Denney.

“Jeff Branson was one of the most popular stars. I couldn’t get over how much better looking he is in person,” says Y&R super fan Bonnie Lee, who attended the inaugural tea. “The room was jam packed. I think there were close to 400 people. I mean, I saw 10 people per table. It was a massive [turnout]. It was very elegant. The food alone was worth [the price of admission of] of $100.”

Le Blanc, she says, “was being his usual funny self as the host running around getting all of our questions.” Bregman had to leave early to promote her jewelry line of The Shopping Channel.”

The only disappointment was not everyone got to take pictures with the stars because the place “was so mobbed. I would’ve liked the event to have been a bit more intimate”

Global TV, which airs Y&R, “was there and had monitors all over the Royal York Fairmont room so we could all see everything. George and Patty did a makeover on a fan. And the biggest thing is they had a silent auction for a trip for two to L.A. and a visit to the set. People went crazy. Five thousand dollars from three people! They decided to give away three different trips!”

Overall, the event “was very well run and I wouldn’t be surprised if Toronto holds another Tea soon!”

Let’s hope they bring in bigger stars.

  II PAUSE

AMC — Did JR Martinez Snub KeMo?

JR Martinez has been using the soap press to promote his new book, FULL OF HEART, but he hasn’t been supporting his former soap peers. During one of the final weeks of DANCING WITH THE STARS, Martinez Facebooked out the phone numbers to vote for all the contestants — with the exception of Kelly Monaco! Hopefully, it was an oversight because snubbing your soap past is not cool. Especially when said soap past made you the name you are today and is single handedly the only reason you were asked to be on DWTS.

The military-vet-turned-soap-star-turned-dancing-sensation writes about AMC in his memoir. In an interview with DIGEST, Martinez previews his memoir, “I talk about when the [AMC] opportunity came up. When I felt like I didn’t want to do [AMC] anymore because I was being discouraged and felt out of place.”

  B&B — No Small Parts

Kudos are in store for Hunter Tylo and Katherine Kelly Lang for delivering some powerful performances as they supported their Emmy-winning co-stars, Heather Tom and Susan Flannery, in their big storylines. But let’s hope B&B keeps the insufferable Hope/Liam/Steffy on the backburner and continues to focus on the exciting vets.

DAYS — Binder Full Of Bullies!

Is there a minority group Salem hasn’t offended? While some fans are surprisingly enjoying the Gabi and Will storyline, I, however, am not. Not only was the original set-up — gay Will sleeping with Gabi in a moment of grief sex — insulting and unrealistic, but everyone and their houseboy predicted Gabi would end up preggers with a child of Dorothy’s! With the exception of AS THE WORLD TURNS’ Luke Snyder, has every single gay character on daytime been saddled by a kid? To add insult to injury, once again the rights of yet another woman are compromised when she decides to have an abortion when employees at a shady abortion clinic somehow allow strangers to interfere in this private, life-changing decision. What really needs to be aborted is DAYS addiction to jumping the shark every week with this storyline. When it comes to golden opportunities for excellent story and buzz, DAYS has a punishing blind spot. Hello, EJill.
